"Disruption" at the Pershing Square Signature Center

Aug 16, 2026 — 8:45:20 PM

You don't need to put "review" in scare quotes. There's nothing nasty about it and it is completely appropriate. J squared doesn't contribute anything of note to this board (just vitriolic pedantry) so maybe you are the one who should take a break.

Re: CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Reviews

Henny unless your name is Dot you do not need to be telling anyone to "move on." We're musical theater nerds. We still haven't moved on from CARRIE (1987).

Jordan Catalano said: "Have tickets ever been as expensive as they are for Bowen? $120 for obstructed viewbalcony is kind of insane." I like Yang and I love this show but I'm not paying $120 for partial view, even though you don't miss much.

The Distinctive Baritone said: "Yeah well, people have said far worse things on this board. I’ve been here a long time and seen some reallymean stuff.Anyway, I hope she gets the help she needs (and that certain members of this board do too)."It's true that this board is filled with nuts but you getting called out for your insane posts on this thread is 100% appropriate.

Why bother sharing that you have no desire to see this? And no one here is insisting that you feel the same way they do. I doubt anyone minds that you aren't into this show.

An Open Letter To Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber

Jul 19, 2026 — 6:25:58 PM

Jay Lerner-Z said: "He's a Lord, not a Sir. Or a Baron. Sir is lowly, he was in the House of Lords. As a conservative, who don’t respond favorably to pleas like this." He says his full title (which he doesn't expect anyone to use,) is Sir Andrew, Lord Lloyd Webber.

Dwayne Johnson Reveals Plans To Hit The Broadway Stage

Did posting this response make you feel like you did something???

John Adams said: "quizking101 said: "[...] considering some people might mourn a show they won’t be able to see, I figure this might motivate some people to go if they can, should I be correct."So, that's the "panic run on ticket sales" I described in Post #21.The purpose of your post is in the hope that your post will make that scenario a reality?" Sit down, John, you're a bore and we've heard this before.

They might find useful anecdotal information here that they could run through their own decision-making filters, but as has bee...

I’m just disappointed that I didn’t get to see it one more time because I’m not paying over $200 for a $79 seat. But good for them for finding suckers willing to do so."
