A tour was announced for 2027:

Also, a cursory look at the seating maps for this week show that Groff is the largest selling point of this show. If the material were actually stronger, it could still easily sell out with an understudy lead. Folding at the end of March is the smart move - but I will also selfishly be peeved because that means that CATS could’ve moved in there had JIT not kept extending over and over again.

Many people close to CATS said that they never wanted the Circle because it was too small.

A human generally holds more gravity than a pre-recorded announcement that most people disregard like an airline safety video.

Anyway, I didn't police your language, I simply asked a question. I genuinely wondered if the term had evolved from the time when only morons used it.

We don't care what you find abhorrent. If it makes you better to call people names, that's fine. Others here are able to make their point without it.

You are not going to police our language. If you don't like it, don't use it. If you can't tell the difference between legitimate grievances and playing the race card, that's on you.

Nah, but you should apologize for lecturing and telling people they were wrong and did not GET the bombastic musical that was Tammy Faye (RIP). We all got it, which is why it ran for 29 performances and lost $25 million.

A closing isn’t the end of employment on that stage

His take seems completely reasonable and respectful. There has been a glee in trashing this show here and especially Reddit.

It is interesting how narratives form. When other shows close quickly we get the "why aren't audiences supporting new work?" Funny how no one is asking that about Versailles, it's mostly "ha ha they got what they deserve."
