THE LOST BOYS Reviews

Direction of a new musical, especially in this case, is not just staging (most of that was done by his choreography team). Arden chose the writers and the band, that makes the show mediocre - and not fit the 80s mat

Meryl Streep considering return to Broadway with Martin Short

I saw it years ago in Philly with Taylor & Burton. I just wanted to see them live. The play itself was OK but their real life relationship "elevated" it a bit. It is a comedy and I think Streep and Short would be good in it. Their names would probably sell tickets. I don't know that it would be possible to do but some tweaks to the book (Updating maybe?) may make

Met Gala

I love Ben's suit! Teyana Taylor also looks great!

People are being cast in Hollywood based on their number of followers. In today's environment it's apparently very important.

They have cultivated a cult following since they were in the UK and do a tremendous job with social media and email promotions to get fans involved.

Just In Time 3.0 - Jeremy Jordan

nealb1 said: "Saw the show last night via a Standing Room ticket that I got 1 hour before curtain. JJ was fantastic! This was my 3rd time seeing it - loved it. Saw JJ in concert 2 weeks ago in Los Angeles. In regards to a previous post, last night I didn't see anyone with a look on their face of "let's go." And, if that's the case.......they are free to leave."

It's interesting how opinions differ. One poster actually saw the show three

Scott Rudin reviving 42nd Street

So, it's a Scott Rudin revival of 42nd Street starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Oscar Isaac, and Sabrina Carpenter with a new book by Ethan Coen.

Y'all had some fever dreams before, but this one takes the cake.

Also: I'm sat.

Is Sabrina still attached?

"Leave no single seat" policy when booking

Ticketmaster does this. When you have a monopoly you can get away with it.

As a solo theater goer I naturally hate it.

Seaview Planning Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Broadway Revival Directed by Sam Gold

I'd like to see Jacob Elordi and Florence Pugh.

Why thank you. That would be much more polite. I appreciate your attention to civility moving forward.

The poster did nothing wrong. In fact you are the only one here with a bad attitude.

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 4/12/26

It's pointless but I keep playing the "what if?" game myself. I hate that Real Women and Outlaw had no chance because of the crowded season, and can't help but wonder what would have happened to them if they opened this season. (Of course they could still have flopped this year as well).

I’m not saying it won’t close early (obviously), but it was always a limited engagement.

BEACHES Previews

This thread has been so much fun. It reminds me of the old days. I mostly have avoided this site for the sake of my mental health because of the  posters with severe personality disorders that I just got sick of. But this thread is both funny and informative.

I thought she pooped on wigs, not orchestras?!?
