Sheet Music Release Question
 Aug 9 2005, 08:51:58 PM
I haven't been able to find any info on the following and I hoped you could help me out. Anyone know the release date of the sheet music to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Spelling Bee, and Light In The Piazza?
Pictures of Saycon 23rd/24th?

Does anybody have these or know any websites?

I think it would make a beautiful play. But I also KNOW that if it were a musical, the Jewish community/Holocaust societies would make a huge uproar. Some might find putting these events to music to be disrespectful. But I do think a play would commemerate it nicely and would be a hit.
Joe Cassidy as Freddy Benson

Wow...This guy is awesome. I just can't imagine how Butz could be better. He stole the show. His voice is great. He and Lithgow were quite a team. It was as though had a special connection - it was like they performed the show together every night. Cassidy was also physically similar to Butz. He was a very nice at the stage door. Anyone else see him?
Didn't like Spamalot...except for Ramirez
 Jul 9 2005, 04:59:53 PM
I thought this show was total bull****. It felt like a bunch of inside jokes that I didn't know about. This is probably because I have not seen the movie but still - you should not have to watch a movie in order to enjoy a show. The score was corny sounding and I didn't like most of it (I enjoyed Find Your Grail, Diva's Lament and a couple others). Anybody else feel this way?
P.S. Tim Curry was very nice at the stage door for someone that famous. Ramirez has a big head and did not come out.

Bumped into Marissa Jaret Winokur!

I was with a couple friends at the Starbucks near the Neil Simon Theatre on Wednesday and we bumped into Marissa. She was super nice. She told us that Wednesday is her hardest day because she does two shows. She really wasn't a diva at all. Very modest. Just thought I'd share.

AHHH! I'm going Tuesday too! Seeing Wicked, DRS, Spamalot, and Spelling Bee. Piazza's fabulous. YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! Moma is awesome too. Have fun.
Are the souvenir programmes for DRS, Spamalot, and Spelling Bee all $10?

I'm not talking about the PBS special Broadway The American Musical. What I'm talking about is 5 discs! Keep up, people!

Excuse me?
Is there some sort of 5 disc Broadway special on DVD?

I came across it yesterday on Amazon.com but I lost track of it today. It had selections from old shows up to current shows I think. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Which of these 2 Sweeney items should I get in NYC in a few days?
 Jun 30 2005, 03:29:35 PM
I'm going on a trip to NYC in a few days and I have a small list of things I need to buy because they are more accessable in the big apple. I need to choose between Sweeney Todd Live at the New York Philharmonic (CD) or Sweeney Todd in Concert (DVD). I'd kind of rather the DVD because it's cheaper. I also want to get sime visuals of Patti as Mrs. Lovett because I want a taste of her performance before it comes to Broadway in the fall. Tell me which I should get, please!

I can't remember the site I saw the clip on. It was a commercial for the show. Anyone have a URL? I want to see it again.

I saw a clip from Woman In White and the set looked incredible. I though I saw a giant train zoom across the stage. Can someone describe the set (photos?) and clarify?
Where are the clips of Ana as Elphaba?
