Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 11/16/25 Nov 19

As long as Versailles keeps making a million bucks a week, I can’t imagine they fold anytime soon. They will push ahead to June so Kristin wins her Tony and maybe Stephen Schwartz finally winning a competitive one too. It’s such a slow year for new musicals, they’d surely notch a ton.

Laura Osnes Didn’t Get the Covid Shot. It Ended Her Broadway Career Nov 19

Is she looking for a New York comeback? She’d make a great Eliza Doolittle. I remember the first time I saw her live was Cinderella. It was the most pure, crystal clear voice I felt I ever heard. She was darling on stage and completely beautiful. Just perfect in that role.

Im not saying side effects are widespread. I was just responding to the lie that there is no risk.
Auggie, are you aware of how many young people actually got the COVID vaccine last year? Only 11% between the ages of 18-29. Why are you so religious on this vaccine? People can and should make their own decisions based on the way they feel. I got the vaccine the first time around and haven’t since. Haven’t felt the need to. <

Two strangers is a yawn. The Queen of Versailles is exciting and fun and highly enjoyable. If you’re in town and it’s still running, I’d highly recommend seeing it.

It is alarming SteveSanders. And why risk side effects when there’s such a low chance Covid is anything more than a cold for healthy folks? Follow the science!

For someone who allegedly hates the show quizking, you sure love seeing it. This would be what, your third time? Plus the Sherie show coming up?

She’s not exactly going around wearing a maga hat. Even in Nashville, she has maintained a neutral political position. Not sure what her personal beliefs are, I’m sure she’s more on the right, but there are definitely liberal people who refused to get vaccinated.
And as far as the comment about no risk to young people getting the vaccine, that’s not true. Have you heard of myocarditis? It’s a side effect

I think she offered to get tested or something? I don’t remember exactly what it was, but wasn’t Stroman trying to make it work with her? I think it was handled respectfully, but the press, New York post, Twitter, blew it up.

So then why are scientists saying that young healthy people don’t need the vaccine? It’s not right wing cuckoos saying that, it’s scientists across the board who are looking at the data. You cannot conflate some older person who has preexisting conditions, with some young healthy person. That is not how medicine works.
