And we're off! Not overly familiar with many of the "Stars," but that doesn't matter much to me. Spent many happy hours on dance floors in years gone by, so DWTS is a show I always enjoy.

Too bad I've already cancelled my Disney+/Hulu subscriptions.

Given that BroadwayWorld has provided information about DWTS under "Latest News," are you going to boycott BWW as well? Are you going to ask BWW to cancel your membership?
We can, and do, stand strong with Kimmel. Watching DWTS shows no disrespect to him..
As someone who loves me some fluff TV, I always enjoy watching DWTS in some capacity. Usually the cast is somewhat decent enough F-List celebrities to invest myself. This season I lost total interest the moment they presented the so-called “cast” during the start of the show. Only Corey Feldman and Steve Irwin’s son would have been the only ones I’d be interested in following but I’m just skipping this season completely. Mormon wives, some rando sports guy, social media influencer - nah, I’m good. Carrie Ann was smart to skip the premiere episode and I’m sure she was sitting by the pool having some pistachios (“under the weather”? Um, no ma’am).
Even when I didn't know the dancers by name, I thought they all were exceptional dancers. The few who were less than that, gave it their all and were fun contestants.
My favorites at the end of night one:
Best Dancer Favorite:: Robert Irwin (his sister, Bindi, won Season 21)
Emotional Favorite (and fellow cancer survivor): Danielle Fishel
Hilaria Baldwin was the best, I hate Alec but it would have been a joke if she got eliminated
I am loving every bit of this season. There have been some surprisingly emotional moments, and some funny ones, as well. I wish every dancer could win, but my favorite is Robert Irwin, a great dancer!
Not watching this season has been the best time saver choice I made. I think I’m done with DWTS forever though it was a fun ride for me since its debut. It lost its appeal once reality show folk and social media personalities started popping up. I wish the show a continued nice run, but I’m out. Thanks for the memories.
It was great to see Tom Bergeron last week guesting as a judge. I am not a big fan of all the reality stars but the quality of the show (sets, costumes, direction and choreography) has become top notch in my opinion. Afterall, I survived the Tyra era! I think the Hough siblings have really elevated the quality and fun.
This season has felt interminable for me, mostly because there are quite a few elements that need a refresh, but also there is no real excitement factor this season for me.
I REALLY need Season 35 to be a super-sized All-Stars season because they are long overdue for one. I also want them to bring back the Judge’s Save, and also change out Carrie Ann and Bruno on the panel with some newer, more stringent judges since they seem to just be scoring on “vibes” this year.
All I can say if if Andy Richter did Strictly in the UK, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas (yes, Mark’s mother) would’ve made carrion of him.

They said they’re getting the highest ratings they ever had. Is it that there’s nothing else on cable anymore? and DWTS is what everybody is watching on there?

I think they're getting the most viewer votes--are they getting the best ratings numbers too? They are on Disney + now too, which is the only way people who aren't watching live on the East Coast can vote (since it's taped for other timezones)
