re: 'Ladies and gentlemen, Patti LuPone is not feeling well today.'

Patti seemed at the top of her game last night, but Laura had the sniffles. Both were great.

You can use this code to get discount Gypsy tickets through April 20: GYBBX84

And from the same site, if you search for "Regular Price Tickets" you can get premium tickets ($250) for regular price ($111) on the day of the show if there are any left. I believe they release them around 2p. I bought center orchestra row G on the aisle for last night's show around 4p.

There are 3 different demos. The first is with either Kerry Butler or someone from Wicked (can't remember who). The 2nd is with Alli Mauzy (sp?) and the last is with Laura. All 3 include "It's Your Wedding Day" but with different lyrics, and one includes "Wonder", which was cut from the show, another has "A Letter From Linda" and 2 have "Grow Old With You." There are about 20 total tracks.

There's also a promotional DVD from the Seattle dress rehearsal that includes parts of almos

I think you're right, the Robbie Hart page was official, but I don't think it got much traffic, like Stephen's personal page.

"now im confessin', i learned my lesson, gimme your lesson, to come back home to stay..."

I think it's his "blessin'", not "lesson" that she needs for him to give...

I'm sure he'll be back, just not in the next season or two.

FYI, the cast was told this afternoon, and Richard Blake will stay until December 31st.

Yes, Richard is leaving sometime in December to start rehearsals for Legally Blonde. Stephen, Laura, Kevin, etc., are contracted for a year, through March 30, 2007 (if it remains open that long).

As for the grosses, the show is sold-out on weekends, and half emply earlier in the week. That could mean that the show has found an audience with people in the tri-state area, who work during the week and come into Manhattan on weekends, but not with tourists, who are here during the week.

re: WEDDING SINGER rush lately?
 Oct 16 2006, 01:48:01 PM
So the short version is the show is PACKED on weekends and EMPTY earlier in the week. That's why they limit the number of tickets sold for the weekend shows. Need to go on the weekend? Get there early.

Anyone else get the impression that DrunkyMcWasted is the BWW screen name of....Laura Benanti?

"Aw I adore Tina and it makes me sad to see her go."

I'm sure you'll have ample opportunity to see her Julia after the 3rd. And Laura's return on the 3rd is not rumor or conjecture, it's fact.

Laura's name has been removed from the cast board in the lobby, and from the Playbill completely. She's gone from the credit page, her photo is gone as is her bio, with Tina replacing her in each spot.

This is not a Laura flame, but I don't believe she's ever coming back to TWS.
