Theaterboard now says the generic theater that has yet to announce a closing for a spring ‘26 opening. 

Would the producers of Cursed Child be ready to close ? I guess ATG could orchestrate something but I find that one trickier than Moulin or even Hadestown. 

If it has a theater, announcement at West End closing ? 

The speculation is the Wanted workshops or something with that.

Your mouth to God’s ear. I’d love nothing more for this remarkable, smart, “talky” play (…there are so few good ones anymore) to transfer and for Lithgow to get another Tony. That said, this production is not associated with the National Theater to the best of my knowledge but derives from the Royal Court. Does the National present non-National shows for broadcast?

I’d assume ATG and the Hirschfeld seems a good pick. Rogue has been on the wire for a bit now and has been stunt casting.

Also in that discussion, it’s not taking the Majestic but a currently occupied theater that hasn’t announced it’s closing yet. 

I was last row house left and it was a pretty good view. Groff comes up that way often and you don’t miss much. 

They reposted the story earlier but have seemingly deleted. 

Interesting to see Lloyd and Rice on board seemingly confirming it’s Webber and his team with Jellicle Ball. 

I understand his rationale but I don’t remember Sunset breaking through to this degree (even though it was a hit) and there is something to be said for striking while the iron is hot. 

Lloyd has also been scouting theaters. 

Saw it for a second and sadly final time last week. It was a raucous and worthy farewell tour atmosphere. 

Still my new favorite musical of the season (Saw Mincemeat in London otherwise most likely tied). 

It wouldn’t let me check out twice - going to wait until later and go later in the run if needed. Disaster. 

I got it unpaused. 

Finally got a message with it. 

Line paused. Starts at 99 with code. 

They tweeted it is coming.

Hopefully it pops up on NT at Home but similarly surprised. Thought that was part of the calculus.

I assume Hiptix will be with the general on sale like Lincoln Center does ? 

This isn’t surprising but sad nonetheless. A delightful surprise of a show with terrific score and performances.
