The Incredible Journey of Mark Schoenfeld" tells the remarkable tale of the musical madman behind Broadway's Brooklyn: The Musical. A man who rose to the top from the absolute bottom. You see, not so long ago, Mark Schoenfeld was homeless, living on the streets, fighting for a dollar or a dime, with talent serving as his only weapon.

In this remarkable documentary by filmmaker Mark Dagostino, we meet the people who changed Mark's life, supporting him financially and spiritual

French actress Sandrine Bonnaire in NYC
 Feb 25 2008, 02:24:52 PM
A special presentation of “Her Name Is Sabine” in New York on March 3, at 7 pm. will be introduced by its director, famed French actress Sandrine Bonnaire, and followed by a Q&A session and VIP cocktail. Mr. François Delattre, Consul General of France in New York, will attend the event at the French Institute.

The movie is a beautiful and moving portrait of Ms. Bonnaire’s sister, Sabine, a 38-year old woman with autism spectrum disorder. The sensitive documentary, filmed by Ms. Bonnaire, shows the dramatic consequences, not only of improper diagnosis and inadequate care structure, but of the penury of specialized alternatives to institutionalization.

Sandrine Bonnaire is an internationally famous French actress, winner of two César awards (the French equivalent to the Oscars.) Her acting career began at the age of 16 when she starred in the Maurice Pialat film À Nos Amours. In 1984 she was awarded the César Award for Most Promising Actress. Her international breakthrough came in 1986 when she played the title role in Sans Toit Ni Loi (Vagabond), directed by Agnès Varda, for which part she won her second César Award. She is best known in this country for her great roles in Claude Chabrol’s La Cérémonie and in the Oscar nominated East/West, with Catherine Deneuve.

Tickets are $25 for students; $50 for the public; VIP tickets with cocktail reception are $100. procedds to a NYC autism charity

Saget brings melancholy to 'Drowsy'

This is not the gleefully perverted Bob Saget that we have come to know from his numerous comedy specials. This also isn't the compulsively clean, family friendly Danny Tanner that we grew accustomed to on "Full House." To play the Man in Chair in the crowd-pleasing m

John Glover: Smallville's Luthor Is a Winner as Drowsy's Loser

Smallville's John Glover now narrates The Drowsy Chaperone.
On the CW's Smallville, John Glover plays the scheming and sexy Lionel Luthor. But this summer he's taking a break from channeling a businessman who wants to take over the world by portraying a lovable loser who can barely make it out of his apartment: the nameless Man in Chair, aka the narrator of the delightful Broadway musical spoof The Drowsy Chaperone. A veteran character actor who honed his skills on stage, Glover has remained active in the theater, despite his busy film and TV schedule. But his turn in Drowsy marks the first time he has graced the Great White Way in over a decade. The actor chatted with TVGuide.com about his return to Broadway, his small-screen success and why he's so good at playing bad.
