Question- has anyone ever actually won the wicked digital lottery?

HAMILTON Principal Cast Replacements  Jul 6 2016, 01:18:34 PM

Child of earth- dying to see kimiko glenn as eliza and alice lee as angelica! Alice is perfect for this show.

Musical Theatre Programs in Washington State?  Jun 6 2010, 06:37:14 PM
Cornish?
H.S. Mama Rose is now H.S. Joanne in Company  Jun 1 2010, 01:56:23 PM
Well this is kind of a pointless discussion...how many of you have been in high school shows, or any show for that matter where the director tells you to do something? And if you don't do it, they tell you again. Most of this is probably direction. And it's a moot point because she is literally still in high school and just booked a featured role on a national tour. For being 18 it looks like she has a pretty promising career ahead of her...who cares whether she copied or not anyway?
Everyday Rapture Audition: Is It Worth It?  Apr 3 2010, 11:28:31 PM
So worth it- it seems really likely they'll see non eq since it's for such a young role AND they have to cast it within at most 5 days of the audition, so they are really serious.
re: Spring Awakening Tour  Feb 11 2010, 05:21:22 PM
Does anyone know why an ECC was just put out for this show? I was under the impression the equity tour was ending in May and a non equity tour was starting next year. Are there still required calls so close to when a show is closing?
re: Hayek, Biel, Morrison, and Szot Star in WOMEN Reading  Dec 22 2009, 09:16:55 PM
I love this movie!!! I can see this being great!
re: Spring Awakening to go non-eq?  Dec 12 2009, 06:46:09 PM
Most of the cast was non equity when they got the show anyway, so if the tour was non equity from the start, the majority of the cast would still probably have been the same.
Best BFA Musical Theater Programs  Nov 11 2009, 08:43:02 PM
musicsnob- pace IS a BFA in musical theatre. And really, don't let anyone tell you which schools are good and bad...as cheesy as this sounds, it's so crucial to find the school that's right for you. A school may not be the most reputable but if you go there and fall in love, chances are you will grow more as a performer and a human being than you would if you want to an amazing program where you were unhappy for 4 years.
re: If ANNIE opened today...  May 23 2009, 12:48:49 PM
I don't think it was shared on the last tour.

Matt's high note in Maria is so good.
re: RIALTO CHATTER: Is Nolan Gerard Funk 'BIRDIE' Bound for Roundabout?  May 18 2009, 12:30:10 PM
Has anyone heard anything else about the Bare production?

re: How old are the characters in 'West Side Story'?  May 12 2009, 11:55:33 PM
I think Maria is supposed to be around 16 and I'm guessing Tony is like 18?
re: Bitch about the 2009 Tony nominations here !  May 6 2009, 04:03:32 PM
I think that the best musical nominations should have been

N2N
Billy Elliot
13
9-5/Title of Show

I think 13 really got unfair treatment here...definitely deserved at least a score nod imo.

re: a career in musical theatre  May 3 2009, 04:31:11 PM
Most of them already have agents from their senior showcases and are probably busy auditioning. They usually end up doing fine.
4/30 - 5/1: FINALS: McDonald vs. Ripley  Apr 29 2009, 09:48:11 PM
Audra McDonald: 2
Alice Ripley: 1

bww: papalovesmambo 'definitely' wants to do beyonce  Apr 25 2009, 11:47:46 AM
I'm surprised that people are so against this. She is one of the only pop stars of today who has real, genuine talent and I am always impressed at how she puts on a show when performing. Single Ladies is always fun to watch because not only is she singing her face off, she's performing.
re: Tveit to Leave N2N in June...returns in September?  Apr 16 2009, 10:38:38 PM
I think that Matt Doyle would be a good choice.
