Does anyone else think that Ellen Green sounds like there's a stick in her as* or something? I do, however, find it quite helarious and amazing at the same time when she sings. I mean she's good, but the way she carries note to note makes you want to cry out, "I'M A VERY BAD GIRL, MAMA!" and want to be spanked. Don't mind me. Bordum is a bi*ch.

Steel Magnolia

Hey, I heard that Steel Magnolia is coming to B'way. Anyone know if this is true? If so, any idea when? I hope soon. Good ass movie....
Loved the Hanky Hugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol. I missed that, but everytime I hear it, I just picture it and it fufills my need to see it somewhat. I still wanna haul ass and watch the ceremonies. *Sigh* In due time I guess.
re: Did anyone else miss the Tony's?

Yeah, my friend taped it for me. Hopefully I'll see it soon.
re: 'SEASONS OF LOVE' BEST SHOWTUNE OF ALL TIME?
 Jun 7 2004, 09:12:21 PM
Yeah. I'm not saying I'd pick that song, but I mean the subject in general. The variety of answers or options is way to braod to pick one.
re: Little Shop...

Yeah. I aqgree. I haven't seen it yet and I think it will taint my view on the show if I see Joey Fat-Head prancing around the stage rather than Hunter. Or some shmuck rather than Kerry. Unless it's Angelina Jolie....hmm...never gonna happen.

To ask what the best showtune of all time is, is like asking who the best comedian of allt ime is- inpossible. Okay, so older songs are great, but how long does a GREAT newbie have to wait to be placed under that category, when they are excellent to start?

I personally think Colleen Fitzpatrick should play Audrey. She was great in Hairspray and she has somewhat of a name for herself. But then again, so does Fat-head....*Sigh* So depressing to see BOTH Hunter AND Kerry go...

Did anyone else miss the Tony's?

I missed the Tony's but thanks to you lovely, positively explicit people, I feel like I didn't. Plus, my friend recorded it. So with due time, I too will see the Tony's. But, I am still curious, did anyone else miss the Tony's?
re: What will close first?

I want to see Avenue Q so much. Not because of the hype from yesterday or by the porformance (which I sadly did not see but my friend recorded it for me! :) ) but because I've wanted to see it for a very long time. Oh yeah, please remember I have the sense of time like a 6 year old does. A long time for me means about a month. '___'

Actually, I missed the Tony's. i'm just talking about past expiriences. I happen to be a HUGE Nathan Lane fan. Let me tell you, as a woman OR man, his talent makes him a damn inferno.

Have any of you seen him in Birdcage with Robin Williams? He was a cross-dresser in that movie. Let me tell you, if talent makes one hott, he was on FIRE.
re: Was Billy Joel Drunk last night?

I'm sorry. I'm new here and already being an asshole. Purely defensive. I didn't mean to be offensive. Just perplexed as to why I got such a negative response to a simple comment.
re: Hunter Foster

I'm so sad that I couldn't see him in LSOH. I heard he was amazing. You guys don't think too diferently, I suppose. I just recently got into Broadway, via close friends, and it was too late for me to see him because he obviously left. I will however, beg my parents to take me to see the Producers.

Well, that's your input on my comment. But alas, you're not in my head and COMPLETELY misinterpreted what I meant by that. So I'd rethink commenting on mentality levels if you can't even interpret a simple, sarcastic remark.
