Is it touring after that Chicago stay?

Maybe Happy Ending has launched it's tour in Baltimore. The last dress rehearsal was to a packed house of local Baltimore school students, most of them getting their first taste of live theater. Really nice touch and a good experience for the cast & the kids. The Hippodrome has had to enact Lucky Seat to fill seats, and sales are still not great for the mid-week shows with some full rows still sitting unsold and unclaimed via Lucky Seat. If they can loop the movie actors in for some time to keep the show afloat for a couple of more years, they'll then have the HBO cast of the new Potter series to pluck from for stunt casting as well. Really has a chance to keep the show going for quite some times. Potter fans abound, and the previews of the HBO series seem sharp and impressive. Could inject even more life into the franchise. Six is ... wow. That is unreal. Cute show, but for me there isn't much re-watchablity. One and done for me, and seems like many folks feel that day. It was a good run for them, and they had a pretty successful tour that rolls til at least June 2027.

Yes, totally feel as if all shows on Broadway and on tour and starting later and later past the advertised start time. I always assumed it is on the audiences lazy attitude about getting to seats on time.... folks used to be seated and ready and nowadays it seemed like everyone likes to stand and drink and chat until the last moment.

Feels like a show that NEEDS a dynamo to play the one and only role. Feels like dynamo-types aren't keen on touring North America. Taxing show with a taxing travel schedule. Will be HIGHLY curious who they can pull to do this show.

The facebook fan page was getting jammed with folks asking multiple times per day who was the Phantom for this pulse and that pulse, or asking when Clay was next up. So, the mods banned posting those questions and answers. I know there is a Reddit thread that stays up-to-date on who is preforming in what pulse, but I don't have Reddit so I can't link you. You'll have to find on your own if you're on Reddit.

Lots of blaming of Trump, gas prices, and Canadians in this thread. While that might be a small sliver of some issues. I really think it is because there is a bunch of BAD shows with BAD casts. Everyone is plugged into reviews online nowadays. When you have a cast and a show the fans want, it is still selling. Harry Potter, Hadestown, Lion King, Hamilton, Oh Mary, Ragtme, Chicago, Rocky Horror, Every Brilliant Thing, ... good shows and selling well. Death Becomes Her, Titanique, Stranger Thin...

I don't think some of you understand what the OP is saying. They are not stating you can't buy a single seat if you are solo. Of course that is allowed. What they are saying is it won't allow you to LEAVE a one seat gap between you and the next patron. So if Seat 1 and 2 are sold, and seats 3,4,5,6 are unsold. You can't purchase seats 4 and 5 and let set 3 by itself on an island. You MUST buy seats 3 and 4 so that 5 and 6 are together as a pair, or buy seats 5 and 6 so that 3 and 4 remain as ...

Selling terribly for it's stop in Baltimore this week. Aggressively trying to dump some tickets via Lucky Seat. If you enter, you'll certainly win.
