Brave Sir Robin2 said: "Las Vegas has seen many! MAMMA MIA, JERSEY BOYS, LION KING, PHANTOM, AVENUE Q, SPAMALOT HAIRSPRAY, THE PRODUCERS, CHICAGO come to mind pretty quickly! After the success of MAMMA MIA, there was a big burst of shows, most of them cut down to 90 minutes."

Vegas also had Phantom for a while.  The stagework was cool for that one in Vegas.

Subscribers were allowed to change/upgrade seats for Baltimore Hippodrome yesterday. The communications from Broadway Across America warned that Hippodrome had experiences "record-breaking" retention of season ticket holders, so don't expect many options especially on Friday night/weekends.  I logged in and looked at available options and, indeed, the upgrades are thin and very thin on the weekends.  Semi-surprised that they have such overwhelming retention as I personally don't consider it a particularly strong season.

I attended Peter Pan at Hippodrome this past Sunday night and it was a sell-out after they filled the last few single seats with Lucky Seat winners.  Seems like theater is alive and well in Baltimore. .

McClure and Lakis will lead DOUBTFIRE national tour
 Feb 26 2024, 03:27:37 PM

Saw this one stop at Baltimore.  Rob McClure is awesome.  Makes the show!  Impressions, voices, physical comedy ... he clearly has earned the green light to go off-script when it fits and he does.  He is worth seeing for sure.  Very good show.

Seeing this on tour in Baltimore this season.  My subscription seats are very close to stage, orchestra level.  For the tour do I need to swap seats for the upper seating to see the floor show?

Saw it at the Hippodrome in Baltimore.  Very entertaining show.  Some great jokes, solid acting.  It is not a top 10 all-time musical, but it is a solid night out and well worth the price of admission IMO.

Reimagined Peter Pan - anyone seen it?
 Feb 26 2024, 11:22:16 AM

Just saw the new Peter Pan last night at the Hippodrome in Baltimore.  I was pleasantly surprised, overall.  I had low expectations heading into it, but came out smiling and enjoyed the evening for sure.  The Hippodrome had Frozen tour through this past season, and personally I liked Pan much more than I did Frozen.

They toed the line pretty well between a kid's show and a show for all ages.  The stage work was impressive at times, using giant screen

50 shades day of tickets
 Jan 2 2015, 04:24:40 PM
I did TKTS booth in Times square day of Dec 27th. Paid $44 each for two. Tickets were Row A, Seats ANY. The usher sat us in the very front row, filling in left to right as folks arrived. I normally would not smile on hat close but allowed for some interaction from the actors which was even more fun.

Good show.
