National tour launches September 2026 in Baltimore — very curious to see how all the technical elements tailor-made for the Broadway run will translate."
Baltimore continues to be a favorite launch point for tours. The Maryland legislators have given huge tax breaks for the arts, making it much cheaper than many spots. Close enough to NYC to get that connection.

Encore series: Six (Oct 22-26) Hadestown (Nov 7-9) Clue (Jan 16-1 The Lion King (May 20-June 7)
Specials: Boston Pops, Cirque Dreams, Bill Blagg Family Magic
Happy to see Suffs and Outsiders especially! Intrigued by Clue (though I don't remember seeing it before so surprised it's part of Encores)."
Great lineup!!!! You guys are lucky.
I just saw the Clue on tour a few months ago and loved it. But I had never seen the movie nor the show, so I was going in blind. I found it to be very fun and very funny. It gets mixed reviews, but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by it. I expected it to be a throw-away filler show for subscribers, but I will say I put it up higher on my comedy list than Book of Mormon.

My guess is Magic = Potter, Majesty = and Juliet, Electrifying = BTTF. That also tracks with what's been announced for other FL Cities."
Have you already had Six? That could be the "majesty" clue. &nb

Lin Manuel Miranda's WARRIORS musical Mar 20

RussT2 said: "Before I started this post, I searched to see if there were any previous posts on this subject on the site, and I didn't see any. I know a lot of people do not like Lin, but a few weeks ago I heard about his 2024 re-imagining of the 1979 movie THE WARRIORS as a musical where the WARRIORS are an all female gang, so I went to Spotify to listen to the album. I've been playing it for weeks and I think it's fantastic. I hope it becomes a Broadway show or a movie.
In case anyone hasn't heard it, here's the link:

MANY more people love/admire/like Lin than not. I think there is a very loud minority that complain on him ... but his work is pretty widely embraced and enjoyed. I certainly love most of his stuff.

Beetle's last known tour stop is this summer of 2025. Considering we haven't seen it for any of the 2025-2026 theaters that have announced, seems like a solid guess its equity portion is done. I looked around and can't find any news or rumors that the non-equ

Maybe 2024-2025 was just an exceptionally good season, but this feels maybe a little underwhelming in comparison.Shucked, Suffs, The Great Gatsby and maybeWater for ElephantsI'm most interested in, but the others I could give or take for the most part."
Everyone has their own take. When I look at that lineup, I like it very much and would be most excited for the ones you didn't mention... Les Mis, Phantom, Chicago, and Wicked are all near the top of my list. I can't wait to see Gatsby. But I have little interest in Suffs and Shucked. I saw Potter when it is a 2 part show and loved it... not sure of it as a 1 parter on the road.

As brilliant as Lin is, I don't think even he could make lightning strike twice with any kind of follow-up toHamilton."

Looks like he was working on the sequel during the lock down. Wonder if he's getting closer to making that a reality...
EDIT: Misleading headline. Not a sequel. Just a follow-up. Like another show he was working on. Sorry. I posted before getting past the paywall to see the article itself.
