Laura Osnes Didn’t Get the Covid Shot. It Ended Her Broadway Career

We all have anecdotal evidence in our own lives of the vaccine's success. And the tragic loss of life when it was avoided. People begged for the shots in ERs across the nationwhen it was too late. Let us not now rewrite history and pretend that COVID was a cold and that younger, "stronger" people who took vitamins or w

Not selling well so you probably can do better at a Rush or LuckySeat.com, but if you'd like to buy direct use the code CAVIAR for 30% off.  Seats for $69 with the code.

The chandelier in Bmore definitely descended at a nice rate of speed. It gets raised to roofline for second act.

Is this tour similar to the Hal Prince production? Do they still have the bridge and boat? The costumes are certainly not nearly as ornate.
"

This tour is slated to run til August.  If the Paulus production is still running that long, it would be an impressive run.

Is this correct? If so, it infuriates me that they refer to this production as "The Brilliant Original"."

It starts overhead, covered by sheets.  The

Of note, Phantom had zero pairs of seats available for sale at Baltimore for any show in the weeklong run almost two weeks before opening night. A couple of mid-week shows had 1-3 single seats left when I looked.  There was no Rush, no Lucky Seat, and no other ticket sale promotions to fuel attendance.  Hippodrome seats 2250 patrons, and it seems that every show sold out at full ticket prices ... of course subscribers get a different (lower) price tag than single-show purchasing&nbs

Saw the show in Baltimore.  It is VERY well done, and the new faces on stage will make a name for themselves on this tour IMO.  Andrew Lloyd Webber was on hand to watch.  The crowd was electric.  The chandelier is quite impressive for a touring show the way it moves, drops shakes, shoots fireworks, etc.  The music is as powerful as ever.  Costumes are on point.  Staging is above board for a touring show.  Interjected some fun and jokes into Act 1, and t

Not a bunch of room for a bump.  This is a show that is at 98%-100% weekly.  Solid ticket prices already.

Broadway shows are picking Baltimore to launch national tours. Here’s why.
 Oct 8 2025, 09:35:30 AM

The tax incentives have been great for the Baltimore economy as the tours originating from there brings in so many jobs and so much spending.  The article has a paywall for me, but there is quite a list of shows that originated in B'more lately..

Six is in trouble.  Even up 9.5% over last week, still a number that means they are hemorrhaging money.  I thought

Review of Ceilidh the Musical (Baltimore)

Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a unique and FUN night out.  It is currently just in Baltimore.  Backed/produced by Alan Cummings, one of Scotland's most beloved actors and directors (currently known by US audiences as the host of the popular reality show The Traitors), this is an experience more than a show. Chairs line the dance floor, as the show involved loads of audience participation and dancing.  As the story unfolds, the entire audience is encouraged

Any insights on how to get on the mailing lists for discount codes?  I am a semi-frequent Broadway visitor and have bought from the venues, from TKTS, from Ticketmaster, from re-sale sites, etc... but I haven't ever gotten a mailer.

Water for Elephants - National Tour Review
 Sep 29 2025, 11:24:13 AM

I was able to catch the launch of the National Tour of Water for Elephants at the Hippodrome in Baltimore.  Some thoughts.

Tours typically run Tuesday-Sunday, but this being the premier launch of the tour they started with a Saturday show.  Despite it being a Saturday and the tour launch, the Hippodrome still had to offer Lucky Seat and discount rush tickets to fill the house.  Rush and Lucky Seat continue to be offered for the week-long run.  Hippodrome has on
