I'm hoping for a lesbian themed SWEENEY TODD but I have a feeling that's not it.

Huzzah and Praise the Gods! Jordan is giving us eye-candy once again. I missed it so dearly.

In all seriousness, I hope it's a brand new show.

The only thing my brain could produce upon reading Jordan's post was, "bldruskdcowldiawleia'doadslkcc!"
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Well, they would both be killing each other over the Dianne Wiest part.
Loser gets the Tracey Ulllman part.

Bullets Over Broadway from what I hear. That cast is really shaping up to be fantastic if the other rumors are true as well.

From all the talk it seems like they expect Bullets to run for awhile.

Interesting if that's what it is. I could see either of them in Weist's role but what role does that leave the other that's not a very very supporting part?

Anyone else know any other people in talks for these parts? Hoping for great things from Bullets.

Whatever it is, it's exciting. I second the comments that a new work would be best, but I'd welcome any chance to see these ladies perform together.

I don't. But I vote for Martha Plimpton as Helen.

Is Bullets coming next season? (spring 2014?) Do they have a theatre and are they going to try-out somewhere? I have not heard anything about it.

Patti said publicly last week that she auditioned for Helen Sinclair in BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and wasn't cast.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

somethingwicked beat me to it. Patti said in her interview with Kathy Henderson on Monday that she auditioned and Woody Allen "couldn't see it."
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I think it's a given that Nina Arianda will be be in BULLETS if Woody has casting approval.

Arianda would be a flawless Olive Neal, though I hope it wouldn't stray too close to Billie Dawn for her.
