Just because she hasn't been nominated to a tony (YET - but anyway how could she given that is the 1st TIME SHE WILL PERFORM ON BROADWAY... EHEM...) doesn't mean that she is not as good. Plus she did won an Olivier award in London.

This keeps showing me how close minded some of the people in this forum are, and how happy you are to start judging people based on nothing...

Honestly, to all this people that are saying how horrible Elena is without even having seen her LIVE (yes LIVE, not just listened to a recording!!!!!!!!!!! You cannot judge a performance based on this only!!! Or even on a video, the quality of the performance will never is what it is live!), you have some nerve!

Of course she is easy to understand, and I'd like to know how many performers do what she has done. She's done theatre in italian and english and they've both been amazing.

as i just posted on another post, i'm SO dissappointed at this! I'm going on january 17 after YEARS of even dreaming of going to see a lot of shows..and there will be NOTHING to see.. any recommendations will be welcome

I'm going to new york on the 17th of January and was planning on seeing MANY shows..now only 6 are on my list... wanted to see next to normal, in the heights, promises promises, scottsboro boys,rock of ages (which I just read it might be closing??!!! ) i'm sooo sad! i've been waiting to go to new york for YEARS..and now there's barely anything to see at that time! (i live in London so half of the musicals i've already seen)... Is there any chance any of this one will extend for a few more weeks????
