So the 1st National Touring Company of Wicked is slated to play the Pantages through 3/15 but nothing after that? I Regardless of your feelings for this show I have to feel it still pulls in A LOT of money at every stop. Are they closing or remounting another sit down?

I think Mamie Paris should be leading broadway. Or Caissie Levy. They were both great in the role, and held their own and LEAD that show! And I'd love to see Betsy Wolfe play Glinda.. I think she'd be strong and for sure could sing it

Dear Lord, please let them bring in Carrie Manolakas. I really think she could develop into an amazing Elphaba.

not saying with who.. (again wink wink) but she was AMAZING in blood brothers, one of the only 2 times I have cried in the theatre... And I thought Evita wasn't my favorite performance of hers, or of the show.. Andrea McArdle playing Eva Peron is just not a ticket you pass up

She is not that known or talked about on here, but I think Dan'yelle Williamson would be PERFECT for the role or as a standby for Broadway. Her acting and voice are perfect and shes is perfect age for it. There was also not one actor in that cast that enjoyed working with Betty during that production. Apparently this was the height of her diva mindset. So many rules about who could address her, who could talk to her, but was free to be as nasty to the rest of the cast as possible.

Jackie is on vacation because she is getting married ( yay) and going on her honeymoon.. I suspect Donna will be playing the majority of these performances with the u/s getting a few also. So if you really wanna see Donna, now would be the time to do it

Lisa Brescia and Jenn Colella . Hands down. It would be amazing from two performs, I think, need to be in a bigger spotlight

Yeah. Not a big fan.. The best production of PIPPIN I have ever seen was with the leading player, who was more a rock and roll figure (picture adam lambert-ish) and it was brillant and a perfect match. It just worked amazing.. Also, not a fan of Terrance Mann as Charles

Caissie is on her honeymoon.. She was married quite sometime ago, but didn't get the chance to take the time off with her new husband because she was still in contract. Frankly,a very well deserved vacation and glad its for a special reason.

I love the original. But I TRULY think the best lady to play the part right now is Andrea McArdle. Though I know that isn't a positive one (just here on the boards).I've seen her do it twice, and by far one of the best vocally and comedically I have seen do the part. And she does it with justice..
