& Juliet is THE best broadway show. You all know how it goes…Juliet sees Romeo dead, and plunges his dagger into her heart…but what if Juliet…didn’t die? Well, that’s exactly what the amazing plot of & Juliet follows. William Shakespeare, the infamous Elizabethan playwright tries and keep the plot as it is, where Juliet ends up dead…but Anne Hathaway (No, not that one) has other ideas. Throughout the story, Juliet character changes from saying “My loneliness is killing me” to “my loneliness sing killing me no more”. MAJOR character development. However, it’s never that simple. Juliet’s best friend, May is on their own self discovery journey as well, and hopes to find love of their own. So, in closing & Juliet is a glitter filled juke box musical about self discovery, female empowerment, and learning how to be a little bit more Confident *wink wink*. Go see & Juliet on broadway!!!

&Juliet has to be on its last leg. If Hell’s Kitchen and Moulin Rouge are both closing, I don’t see Juliet staying around for much longer when their grosses have been in the 600k range.
I posted in another thread a couple weeks ago about the current state of this. I’ve loved this show for like 7 years now and have seen it more times than I’ll admit to but when I went back in December I was really upset by just how tired it seemed. Even great musical theater performers in it seem less than happy to be onstage and the energy is severely lacking. If/when there’s a total cast overhaul I’ll return but it made me really sad to see it slumping along like it did for me
Oh Claire Bear, tell the cast and crew I said hello and try to amp up the energy, because when I think no one cares on the stage, why should I care in the audience? It reminds me of the last few months of Newsies, where Corey and co just kinda stood around bored as hell.
So if we're creating accounts on Broadway World to be a shill for a struggling show, a closing notice can't be far behind...
She even got the screen name pic perfect too!

On the contrary I can’t really think of a show that wants to go into the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

It's a cute little filler show for tourists to see in NYC or to take in on its tour. I'll not see it again, even if they bring out some interesting stunt casting to try to breathe a few more weeks out of it somehow.

I went very recently and thought Liam and James held were bringing most of the energy throughout the evening. Teal Wicks was also definitely the strongest Anne I’ve seen since Betsy left. That said, agreed. The show just doesn’t feel as *punchy* as it did when I saw it spring of 2023.
People here will disagree with me but some of the earlier Act 1 songs (Domino, Show Me Love) would really benefit from just being mixed louder. Both songs consistently feel so quiet and sloppy. This show lives or dies depending on it’s ability to get it’s audience to fill the space and reciprocate and when the button finishes and no one in your mezzanine is clapping, it kills the whole mood.
I like the musical performances in it when I saw it, but literally anytime they started doing plot things I wanted to die. It was just cringe inducing and not in the good Mamma Mia way.

“Literally”, huh? Yet you’re still here…

And yet... "want" does not mean "I did" if you want to police figurative language like a dipsh*t maybe learn how to read. "Literally" is referring to the number of times I felt that, not the feeling itself. Maybe you should work on your linguistics of the English language instead of embarassing yourself.
Easily the 2nd worst Broadway show I’ve ever seen; only surpassed by “Contact”.
“Mamma Mia!” made jukebox musicals look so effortless…
