Idina Menzel was the original Elphaba in Wicked the musical and now Shosana Bean is Elphaba

No no no! I don't mean same person I mean are there voice qualitys like equal?

I want opinions here. I saw Idina and think she is amazing but I haven't seen Shosana. I have heard some clips of her singing+seen a clip of a video and think shes great but what are your opinions? Is Idina better than Shosana? Is Shosana better than Idina? Are they the same?

In Les Miserables when they say the line
"To love another person is to see the face of God" or just that whole show in general considering I have seen it 9 times altogether!

Personally I am not looking forward to Woman in White my Dad bought the CD and I don't like the music at all. It's not exciting!

But my friends parents went to see Les Miserables and they walked out at intermisson! When my friend told me I was like "They are crazy!!!"

I just wanted to state this because it seems many people are getting these 2 confused!

The difference is:

A "soundtrack" is from a movie therefore a movie soundtrack.

But a "cast recording" is the cast of whatever show singing and recording it to make a CD so please don't say "I have the Brooklyn soundtrack" say "I have the Brooklyn cast recording"

Also if you have the OBC or OLC then it because "I have the original Brooklyn cast recording"

I could never pick just 1!! I love so many and evenutually even one of my favorite musicals if I saw it like all the time I would get sick of it!

Teachnically one could be William Barfee because the shortened form of William is Bill so is could be Bill Barfee from Spelling Bee!

I think you should get Miss Saigon-Original London Cast Recording and Brooklyn!

Why? because Miss Saigon is an AMAZING musical and its one of my favorites and the london cast is AMAZING! It has Lea Solanga and other great people!

Brooklyn is also a wonderful musical and I think Eden is amazing! Also the music is wonderful and its a great show!

Those are the 2 I think you should get! I have them and I love them!

I personally think the Eden Espinosa is wonderful. I have never heard her sing Wicked but I have heard her in Brooklyn and I think she is wonderful!

I thought that Stephanie was still doing the tour though?
