Even as a child I found the film version to be... underwhelming? I put it in the same category as The Gnome-Mobile and Darby O'Gill and the Little People. But as an adult find it unwatchable. I believe there is definitely room for improvement in an revised of the original material. Should be interesting to see how it progresses.

Since so many have noted that Wolfe uses his preview period as an extended rehearsal period (but still charging huge prices for the privilege to watch his "process"), has anyone who has been back since early previews notice significant changes to this production yet?

I don’t believe “Cancel Culture” is a political movement. It is simply many individuals who have chosen not to give money to or support people whose goal is to take rights away from or otherwise harm individuals or groups. If enough individuals are offended that Nicole or Zachary or Louis CK or Diddy or whomever are supporting politicians or partake in behaviors which offends or threatens enough people who would rather not spend money or support such celebrities (even for a critically success...

Jasmine Amy Rogers is THE star; everyone else is perfectly fine, but really, Faith's role could be done by any number of actors in that age range. Easier to fix a flawed book when the rest of the show is nearly perfect, than to have to scrap almost everything just to have Jerry come in and do it right (looking at you, Devil Wears Prada). By the way, in my opinion the score for Boop! is far superior to DWP. And I have a feeling Elton won’t be to invested in fixing that.

I don't believe the decision to make the changes was just decided since the first preview. I understand they were planned from the beginning and they have been working on them for some time, but did not have time to implement them prior to the first preview. I saw the show again and feel it is in great shape, but could use some tweaks. I hope to return when the changes have gone in.
