So I guess this basically confirms Faith Prince will transfer with it, too, since she's a judge. I didn't see it in Chicago but a lot of people felt she was wasted and/or the part was unnecessary. But a gig's a gig.

Have they rewritten much since Chicago?

I don't actually know if they have completed rewrites, but I know there were changes they had actively worked on in Chicago that never got implemented in the show's run then. I expect they continued working on it during this break, and I hope to see it again in a new and improved form!

As my agent friend said: she has nothing to do and is wasted in that unecesssary role in the show. She's basically collecting a check as she needs the gig.

First preview is the same night as the "Smash" first preview - that's annoying to people who love first previews :(

That's happening for two other shows too, but I'm currently blanking on which ones. They don't care about people who like to attend first previews and it really shouldn't be a primary concern, sorry to say"

And I thought it was one of the best and most enjoyable of the many Chicago tryouts I’ve seen. And for the most part, the critics agreed. I was thoroughly entertained and am looking forward to seeing it again.

I saw this in Chicago. I wanted to enjoy it as a fluff piece and have fun, but I left genuinely confused by the plot and the moment that got the best reaction in the show was when the dog puppet shook it's butt.

If that's the highlight of this show they've got a looong walk ahead of them on Broadway. Hot cast tho.
