Pulitzer Prize 2026
 Apr 23 2026, 02:59:11 PM

No, it was a cool interesting day, but it was waaaaaaaaaay to drawn out and didn't necessarily tread any new ground concerning adolescent. And that ending was laughable and cliched.

Lead Actress in a Musical 2026

Schmigadoon is a comedy; Ragtime obviously is not. Melissa can't be a role that is "as challenging or emotional as Mother." But her role does a lot of the comedic heavy lifting in Schmigadoon and I think that is just as valuable as Caissie being one of the emotional centers in Ragtime.

It's time were people give credit where credit is due for comedy. A comedy performance can be as impressive if not more as a dramatic role. It takes a lot to be as funny as Sara is as M

God, I hated Grief Camp, especially as someone still working through their grief. I pray it is not a finalist.

Yes, he's always been credited as a co-writer with Justin Paul on music and lyrics. How'd you miss that all these years?

Lead Actress in a Play 2026

I haven't seen Proof yet, but Anika Noni Rose is knocking it out of the park in The Balusters. I could see her taking Ayo's spot and Rose/Kelli are a little interchangeable, even though I would love for them both to be nominated.

This was such an absolute highlight tonight! It is hilarious and the cast is all around fantastic. David Lindsay-Abaire is such an incredible writer and handles all of the characters immensely. I'm hoping maybe this can be Marylouise Burke's Tony!

2025 Pulitzer Prize Predictions
 May 5 2025, 03:41:53 PM

I don't know about Purpose winning Best Play. I really get it winning the Pulitzer, but I think John Proctor is the Villain is more of a completion for Oh Mary.

The Pulitzer seems to come down to more content some times then actual structure of a play. Purpose is very good, but it's not BJJ's best work compared to Appropriate last year.

Next LITTLE SHOP Cast?
 Apr 21 2025, 10:40:35 PM

Someone has to be punching us with those prices! I mean I see that people would pay high prices for George Clooney or Denzel Washington, but Milo Manheim and Elizabeth Gillies? Love them both, but this feels like it should be a computer error. Especially with nearly still a month left in their run.
