SWEENEY TODD Revival announces further casting

hork said: "I don't understand the excitement over Jeanna de Waal. I thought she was terrible in American Idiot and possibly even worse in the approximately 10 minutes of Diana I could stand."

Looking for the post where anyone asked.

FUNNY GIRL on Broadway - News & Discussion Thread

Saw the show tonight and I'll be one of the contarians- I thought it was sensational and that Beanie was fabulous. Loved it and thought it was a beautiful night in the theatre. Maybe it's just me, but if it is, I'm okay with that.

Broadway Discounts

jkcohen626 said: "I'm not sure Hamilton has ever had a discount code, lol! I'm sorry."

Lol! It's all good! I know it was a long shot. I had seen an old one for $99 seats earlier in this thread and was hoping there might be something similar.

Broadway Discounts

This might be a long shot but does anyone have any discount codes for Hamilton? Visiting NYC (first time in nearly 7 years!) for a week in May/June and would love to see it again.

Favorite Christine Daae

I haven't seen a lot, but Sierra Boggess and Sara Jean Ford were both excellent. I also saw Krista Buccellato (understudy) on the restaged tour and I thought that she was quite good.

Although I never got to see her, Rebecca Caine is one of the best and I will listen to the Canadian cast recording with her and Colm before any other version of the show.

Favorite Glinda?

I saw Hayley Podschun play the role on the show's second national tour back in 2013 and she was brilliant. I also saw Katie Rose Clarke who was incredible as well. They take the cake for me.
2019 Tony Awards Performances

What am I missing here? Why is that petty?

Out of the main cast of "Hadestown" (Orpheus, Eurydice, Persephone, Hades, Hermes), Reeve Carney was the only one not to be nominated for a Tony Award. "Wait For Me"

Hugh Jackman in The Music Man

This is an interesting tweet.

Non Equity Kinky Boots tour?

MannPhan24601 said: "Is it true the kids are missing ? If so,how is the first scene done ? Might see it in Atlantic City"

The kids are in fact missing. At the beginning of the show, Charlie's father walks onstage and is joined by adult Charlie who kicks a soccer ball onstage and runs after it. He instead sings to adult Charlie who speaks what would be Young Charlie's dialogue. Young Lola's part is just cut entirely.

Non Equity Kinky Boots tour?

I thought it was incredible! The cast was really phenomenal and the quality of the production was excellent. It was my first time seeing the show and it certainly didn't disappoint. It was a really fun night at the theatre and I would recommend it. I hope you enjoy the show when you see it.

Titanic Broadway Revival!!!

I don't know if there's any base to this, but you've gotten hopes up, so thanks.

Roles for King Kong?

I think the Weisslers will definitely want to get Kong into one of their shows. Perhaps as the next Roxie in Chicago? Would also like to see King Kong take on the role of Eliza DooLittle after Laura. Or is he too big to replace?

Betty Buckley in Hello Dolly

That curtain call video made me really happy! Thanks, n2nbaby!

I hope to catch the production in Tempe, but I am not sure yet. I'll be doing everything in my power to get there! I love "Hello, Dolly!" so much and have been so sad since it closed so just knowing that this production is playing somewhere brings me so much joy.

There is no way Patti Murin is going to be considered a Featured Actress for Frozen. She is the lead, along with Caissie Levy.
