Individual tickets sales are still TBA. It’s playing Oct. 2 - 21, and I’d love to drive up to the Connor Palace to see it. This is the same theater I saw “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”. And I already have a ticket for “Hamilton” in Cleveland for my birthday in July, might as well go back up again for the opening weekend of the “Hello, Dolly!” National Tour since I’m seeing it on Broadway at the end of this month and again in August.
Curious of anyone from the Broadway production will join the tour?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
In 1969, I saw Betty and Anthony "Tony" Roberts in the London production of "Promises, Promises". I don't know if Mr. Roberts is still professionally active. But half a century later, it would be fun to see them reunite for "Dolly".
I agree about Douglas. He’s too young. Betty is in her 70s. Granted, Bette and Bernadette are in their 70s as well. The difference is Betty looks her age.

I’d love it if Santino Fontana and Charlie Stemp toured. I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about the latter, and it doesn’t look like I’ll get the see Mr. Fontana since Gavin Creel is coming back.
Santino is going straight into rehearsals for the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of TOOTSIE as soon as his run in HELLO, DOLLY! ends. No HELLO, DOLLY! tour for him.
Please keep Santino in "Tootsie" and nowhere near the "Hello Dolly!" tour!!
I don't even want him driving the bus (he said with affection)
...the Buckley/Roberts casting would be interesting but not really a staggering reunion since they were in London. Tony Roberts still does act/sing and do audiobooks.
btw, forget who it is, ...way too "shady" on Betty!

I also think he might be too young. But not that young. Have you seen him lately? ( and I don’t mean that in a shady way) I heard he was made a offer from a Adams Famiky cast mate. But a offer does not mean anything.
I can see someone like Billy Harrigan Tighe playing Cornelius.

Kinda curious how Buckley will endure the physicality of Dolly Levi Gallagher. Both Midler and Peters are physical powerhouses in their early 70s (both are fit beyond words) but I remember clearly Buckley had issues with the staircase during her time in SUNSET BLVD over 20 years ago. She wore a special knee brace girdle under her costumes.

With the announcement of the London production of Dolly, he’ll probably return home with it.
