This is quite the nice surprise drop into the season.

That’s an excellent choice for MTC. I’ve been dying to see this.

HELL yes. I saw this at Steppenwolf and loved it. I had heard rumblings of a transfer, but I thought it was dead in the water.
Very exciting to have Carrie Coon back on Broadway for the first time since her debut over a decade ago!

She's come home at last, to her people in the dark.
I'd rather see her in August: Osage, but this is wonderful news!
Great news, it’s a fun play and a great director and a Steppenwolf ensemble!
I really enjoyed her performance in Mary Jane off Broadway at NYTW and love her on The Gilded Age. I’m looking forward to seeing her in this!

Coon is only 44. She has more than enough time to get to the revival of August: Osage County opposite Laurie Metcalf.
Looks like MTC going to add Yondr pouches because of the play's content advisory (sex/nudity).

I have trip to Broadway in November, so I need this to stay put until April when I come back. Please. 🙏🏼

Unfortunately, it won't. THE BALUSTERS is set to open in the spring at the Friedman.

Excited for this! We usually make a trip the 2nd weekend of January and it’s a lovely time, no crowds and cheaper hotel rates.
Any idea when 30 under 35 will go on sale?

It won't be until right before the start of previews, 30 under 35 for Punch aren't even on sale yet

Probably October…
PUNCH starts previews soon (September 9) and and the 30 under 35 is not available yet for that show

I am seeing many shows in October in NYC. I will definitely go to the box office at the Friedman and report back in this thread (if still available)

I'm so sad that this won't be there until april.
Between this and ANNA CHRISTIE, I maybe go NY on winter not spring this time.
Long shot, but I hope this sells out and gets the Appropriate/Take Me Out treatment by getting picked up by commercial producers and transferring to another theatre.

I called audience services this morning at MTC. They told me to write an email to them due to technical issues from their website. They wrote me back in this email:
“ We have rebranded the program known as 30 under 35 to MTC35 for Single Ticket Buyers and Young Subscribers for the subscription side of the program. If you are only interested in purchasing tickets forPunch, we will be sending that code out sometime on Tuesday.
If you are interested in seeing Punch as well as the other shows in our season, I recommend joining our Young Subscriber program. The form to subscribe online won't be up on our website until Monday, but if you're interested in subscribing today, please feel free to reach out to us at 212-399-3050. ”

MTC transferred Time Stands Still and Venus in Fur to commercial runs in recent-ish memory, so the company certainly has precedent. Having a major awards season contender at the center certainly helps, and Carrie Coon’s star is very much on the rise.
