Does anyone think this production may end up becoming an open ended run?

I have to say, regardless of what you think of the show, it's pretty refreshing that the creatives clearly care very much about making this show as good as possible before opening. I only wish they could have had an out of town tryout first to have had even more time to perfect it. But seems like most of the cuts they've been making have absolutely been to the musicals benefit.

Was Shoshana's song in Act I "Be Kind, Rewind" still in the show?

Cynthia would be perfect, but there's no way they'd cast a white Amneris again in todays climate.

Does anyone think we'll get a new cast recording with this production?

How easy is it to be able to watch these? Do you have to show "proof" of the research you are supposedly doing or do they basically just let anyone view who wants to come and watch?

My dream role for Sunset (which will never happen) would have been Cyndi Lauper. Now THAT'S a take I would have loved to have seen.

It's probably safe to assume that whatever role she had planned is now on hold due to her 2nd pregnancy.

Just for my own curiosity...If the team (theoretically) said "okay, Broadway was clearly too ambitious, let's do something more realistic..." and tried to book an Off-Broadway/much smaller house, is that something that would now be made more difficult due to this cancelation [announcement] and it being seeing as a kind of "tainted" production, or does that not really matter either way?

"Understudy Buddy" from Goosebumps the musical is the best and catchiest song by far and is sung by a very minor character in the show. I've already heard it quite a bit at auditions and showcases.
