Second Stage acquired the right to buy the theater in 2008, but it seems as though they are still raising money and have not actually purchased it yet. I would assume there is some sort of provision for this in the ROA contract since the deal had been made long before ROA moved in.
FINDING NEVERLAND Musical Artwork
^ I just searched the plot to refresh my memory, and as I thought, it does not come from the end of the movie. There is a kite-flying scene in the middle of the movie, and then a kite is mentioned again during one of the scenes from Peter Pan.

Interesting trend regarding projection design. 3 shows are having their projection designers jointly considered with the set designer for Best Scenic Design. I feel like this could definitely lead to a Best Projection Design category in the future.

Although it opened 8 years before Disney signed the lease on the New Amsterdam, I'm under the impression that the Marriott Marquis also had a significant effect.

I agree about "Fabulous, Baby." I also felt like it was reminiscent in some ways of Seussical, although I couldn't pinpoint exactly which song. Maybe "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think"?

Da'Vine Joy Randolph out of GHOST tonight
Moya Angela played the role again tonight. While you could tell that she didn't have a lot of rehearsal, she still was incredible and completely won over the audience.

CPD, it's not about asking for more money to license the show. Rather, it's about generating more licenses because a group is more likely to license a show that has been on Broadway than one that has not.
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 12/25
Actually, if you look at how many shows only played 7 performances this week, it's not so bad at all. Lyssie J for example, while only up $9,000 over last week also had one fewer performance than last week.
Crew Recognition
After seeing Les Mis, I thought the crew should have gotten some recognition. You can vaguely see them throughout the entire show, moving things on and off that turntable. There were some moments back there that looked more choreographed than what was happening onstage.
Which confirmed NEW musical are you most and least excited for?
Do we have a complete list of confirmed new musicals? At this point, there are so many rumored musicals that I am having trouble figuring out which shows are confirmed. EDIT: I've got Lysistrata, Bonnie and Clyde, Nice Work, Patty and Mandy (sort of), Ghost, Rebecca, and Prince of Broadway. Am I missing anything? This seems like a really sad bunch.
