THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW reviews

I have to be a little disappointed because if she would have opened the show, it is likely she would have been nominated for it, and given this years offerings and how loved she is in the community, she could have won it too...

So when she takes the stage

SCHMIGADOON! Reviews

Have to say from this jaded theater goer that it's perfectly charming. Great first act. Second act is a bit sluggish and clunky in order to tie everything up but that's understandable given a 6 episode series. The new songs are passable though I don't think Ana sings the same song about her Mayor husband as in the series I found to be better but I could be mistaken. A lot of the inside baseball theater visual jokes in the series are gone like the name of the town's storefronts

Trump Takeover of the country

No, Trump does comply with (or backs down from)the majority of legal rulings made against him. It’s a propaganda

DEATH BECOMES HER To Close on Broadway June 28, 2026

I don't know why the article doesn't mention the capitalization of the show or the weekly running costs as a factor. It's a big show in every aspect which requires a high weekly to keep it running. Even at $1M per week, they couldn't be clearing more than $150K-200 a week. Without Tony Awards, it was doomed.

Babies crying in theaters

May 17, 2026 — 3:34:26 PM

I have no issue with babies in theaters so long as those shows are made for them. For instance, many years ago, the New Victory had an immersive 45 minute show in one of their spaces called "Baby Rave" which was exactly that. It was a rave party for infants 6 months to two years old (can't get much younger than that)! But the idea is that lights and sound are critical in a toddler's development. Music and lights played along with teacher assistants helping the the parents an

Jamie Lloyd-helmed EVITA revival to play the London Palladium in 2025

That’s a shame. But it’ll still be a huge hit and Rachel will still win the Tony.

You're predicting who will win, never mind be nominated, a Tony Award 14 months away? Got any good stock tips you wanna share

FALLEN ANGELS Reviews

Apr 23, 2026 — 11:38:53 AM

I saw it last night after it got mostly glowing reviews and was horrified at what I saw! I had seen the earlier production at the Menier Chocolate Factor with the delightful Janie Dee. This full length three act play got cut to 90 minutes. Granted there's moments in the 2nd act where things felt redundant so cuts were understandable. But it made me wonder if Scott Ellis even know who Noel Coward was. The beauty of Coward, even in his farces, is the smartness of his characters and their so

Sutton Ross said: "So, in 99% of theater productions, people should always follow theater etiquette. Do not distract, be quiet, etc. But I would never expect a silent Rocky Horror Show, that's just not within the spirit of this show. I've only seen oneregional productions of this, and it wastons of chaotic fun. From the jump with this announcement, I was questioning the company and director behind it. It didn't seem like a natural fit, like at all.

As someone who doesn't love constant call outs, I attended a matinee since I knew that would be naturally quieter than their late-night shows, and most likely full of subscribers just trying to get their money's worth. The show was fun, the cast was exciting, and the audience was older and reservedfor the most part. I was sitting between an older couple and a younger man. When the man shouted out "She's got no f*cking neck!!! regarding Rachelthe older man leaned allll the way over and told him to "SHUT THE HELL UP". He was stunned and remained quiet for the rest of the show. The couple never laughed once, they were just...there stone-faced. It's like Sir, do you know where you are?The rest of the show had basic call outs but no one trying to make the show about them (I read on Reddit someone just screaming things for 5 minutes until Luke finally said something that shut them up).I spoke to an employee who said there's been a lot of issues striking a balance between "different types of theater-goers" and complaints on both ends. Very diplomatic and polite, but I could tell it's been a lot for them.

This got me thinking about the note on their website that has changed at least twice. It's confusing and clearly not getting the message across. It's truly the "Shake your ass BUT.... watch yourself" show of the Broadway season.

Thanks for posting this, but it seems like they're sending very mixed messages.

What to See London First Weeks of May

Apr 12, 2026 — 4:29:18 PM

I scored standing room tickets for Inter Alia which is the only way I'd see it. They're £17. The next level up is well over £150 which is insane. Might as well wait for the Broadway transfer which is happening.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN 2026 Previews

It may be a good production. Hell, it could be a great production. But I loath at the idea of giving Scott Rudin my money. Unless he had a "come to Jesus" moment, which to the best of my knowledge he hasn't, there's a good reason he was chased out of Broadway. But he's got an EGOT so theater owners will bend over for him. It's gross. No thanks.

It can’t decide whether it’s a farce or a comedy of manners, but in both cases, they come up short. While it is only 90 minutes, I did find myself checking my watch a few times. It took about 40 minutes for the action to really get cooking. By the time you’ve reached the d

I happy to report that the agents accomplished their mission in front of a wildly enthusiastic audience. There's some small variations in the characters as all the actors are trying to make it their own. The word from HQ is there's likely to be another press
