The Full Monty has not only been on my wish list of musicals overdue for a Broadway revival, but also for Roundabout to produce. Glad to see that they're reviving it.

My husband’s favorite musical is The Full Monty, so this is a big day in our household. Excited to see who they cast.

Also, I hope Kara Young continues to thrive as the reigning queen of New York City theatre for decades to come. If she could sing too, could you f*cking imagine the possibilities??

Definitely curious to see if they will be marketing the Full Monty with a headliner name or two or if it would sell just on the title alone. Honestly I'm surprised to see that it has the response and following as it seems to have.

On paper at least, Christopher Ashley’s tenure is off to a great start. 

Also, notice how nothing’s been announced for Studio 54… will ROCKY HORROR keep adding piecemeal extensions?

It’s been selling like gangbusters and seems to be a magnet for celebrities, so I can imagine they are entertaining possibilities to extend. If the show is doing well, it could help fill Roundabout’s coffers in the way CABARET did.

Also, and I am shouting this, KARA MF’IN BLACK, BLESSED, BOOKED, and BUSY YOUNG!!!!!!!!!! (With Ruben Santiago-Hudson no less!)

Definitely didn’t see the FULL MONTY revival coming, but honestly I’m glad to see it, and the Haimes is a nice intimate space. 

This looks like a hell of a season.

Wow, a slam dunk of a season. Something to look forward to across the board, even if I think The Full Monty is insanely misogynistic. Always excited to see Dustin Wills directing, and especially excited to see Kara Young in a Dominique Morisseau piece.

Not too long ago I would roll my eyes at most stuff Roundabout produced, but they’ve really been turning things around the past few years and I’m thrilled to see it.

Full Monty!?!? God Bless.... Less excited about Leigh Silverman directing but hell yea. Missed the original production but adore this show so I'm very excited.

Came back from a meeting and my phone was blowing up with this news. Saw the OBC 13 times and can't wait.  Let the dream casting commence. Corey Cott as Jerry, please.

Unless their sales plummet, Rocky Horror will be running until the end of the year. Might The Full Monty take Studio 54?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

My sister took me to see The Vagina Monologues on my 21st birthday. Il never forget Mel C lamenting an audience member for going to the toilet during her ‘RECLAIMING THE C***’ bit.

For anyone on the fence or even if you don't live in the Tri State area, I recommend getting a subscription.  Even if one or two shows don't fully speak to you - the price per ticket is a major deal.  I think for both ROCKY and FALLEN ANGLES I paid approximately $65 a ticket.  Def worth it.

Monty was announced for the Haimes. It seems likely that whenever Rocky returns to a distant planet, they’ll start renovations on 54.

Adding to the cheers for what, on paper, is a marvelous season.

I feel that Bill Irwin and Ruben Santiago-Hudson are two of our greatest actors - and the latter + Kara Young has me *sat*.

So glad that the Monty revival that I think has been rumored for a good lone while has a prime, not too large house. Eager to see casting.

And per IBDB, the Circle in the Square production of Rocky Horror ran for a little over two years (even coming back from the nightmare of 9/11.) Echoing the earlier poster - I can't see this production slowing down until they're ready to do the Studio 54 renovations that have been reported.

Great first signs of hopefully an awesome-all-around 26-27 season....!

Heard great things about THE HEART, and glad to see FULL MONTY getting revived after kicking around for so long! Leigh Silverman + musicals = no good, though. Roundabout being a nonprofit gives it a little more of a cushion than a commercial production, since trying to convince famous actors to bear it all can be tricky.
