Ever wondered what Next to Normal would sound like in a Glee style?

They need lots and lots and lots of auto-tuning to sound like the Glee cast.

Dear lord
Attend the tale of Bovine Boy
His party threads we all enjoy
But does he have Mad Cow Disease?
He doesn't eat beef - but cows skating? - oh please!!!
With cocoa!?!
And lemonade!?!

Ha! Consider this another vote for needing a boatload of Auto-Tunin'.

What is Glee-style and is it bad that I have no clue what Glee is?

Don't disrespect Glee like that. This is an atrocity, and I love the Next to Normal soundtrack. Now Glee ACTUALLY needs to do this song to get this bad sound out of my brain.
And not to be mean, cause I know they are high school students... but those costumes are a BIG NO!

Well I wasn't entirely serious, my point was just that it would be better than that.

Anything would be better than that IMO. I'm not a Glee fan though.

Trainwreck, I don't think it's the quality of the performance but the fact that they actually performed that song. The song being sung by a woman who is having a mental breakdown...

Yeah, good point. It just doesn't work in that context.

OH dear BWW...
And TheaterFan4 - I know what the song is about, and I'm well aware how terrible a choice it is for show choir. But on top of just the song selection the choreography looks like it was done by ME - which is a really BAD thing!

Maybe this choir could do Dante, Petrarch and Poe from Lolita next? Or maybe I Never Did Imagine from Prettybelle? I think they have a pretty good idea when it comes to contextualizing songs from musical theatre.

I want to know what is up with the ballerina outfits with the sneakers. That is just bizarre, besides the singing being pretty bad.

That was just an AWFUL song choice. And the girl's costumes are atrocious.

I turned my TV on yesterday and thought "Jeez, another Kidz Bop?" Then the picture came on, it was Glee.
Let all high school relations with Next To Normal end here, at least they sang it live and minus the orchestrations and dance moves, the actual singing really wasn't that bad... Glee has already butchered enough songs.
