Overall I thought it was a good show. I know the show should be about the awards, but some of those speeches went on too long and it started with the first one. They have stuff to say, yes, but it can be a bit much at times. Plus, it caused performance clips to be cut for other categories (and it still went over). Basically I'm judging solely on my thoughts and not what should have been performed, etc. The shows overall could be totally better or worse than what I saw haha. I thought the Hadestown performance was stunningly beautiful, but I don't know if it was the showstopper that was needed for The Tonys.
