John Gallagher Jr! he was so awesome, when I saw the show shortly after it opened, It was a very rainy day and there werent many people at the stage door. We talked outside of the stage door for like 10 minutes about random stuff. he was so sweet. I love him!

I haven't gotten many chances to stage door, and when Wicked came out here on tour I went to go see it because I am a fan of Julia Murney. She ended up being one of my favorite people to meet. I don't think many people out in San Diego know much about stage dooring, but there was a small croud and she mingled with everybody before she left. We had about a good 2 minute conversation with eachother and she was really funny too. The same night Emily Rozek (Who had been on for Glinda that night) came out, chatted with my and my family, and when I asked if one of the cast members was coming out, she said she wasn't sure so she whiped out her phone and called them to ask, which was really nice of her.

For me the nicest was the entire cast of the Sweeney revival. Every single person came out and took time to sign and talk with us. I was shocked at Patti I figured she would kind of be a diva about it.... I was so wrong she was so kind, joking around with me and my friends about Usher and stuff, it was a lot of fun.

Raul Esparza was so gracious, friendly, and funny to every single person who came to the stage door. He stayed to talk to all my friends, a conversation he could not have possibly been too riveting to him, but it meant a lot to us.

So far...and with only very minor exceptions - all of the Broadway stars I've met have been very nice.

But Hugh Panaro has the distinction of being both the nicest Broadway performer and the nicest human being that I've ever met.

When I saw Spelling Been in December, the whole cast was ridiculously nice. My friend and I had been sitting in the rush seats (right up front), and so when they saw us outside, a few of them called out "hey front row girls!" They were so chilled and nice, asking us where we were from and what school we were in. And there was a massive school group there, and the entire cast stayed for a really long time, making sure everyone who wanted got a picture/autograph.

Other than that... I remember Tonya Pinkins was really sweet at Caroline or Change. And the boys who played her sons (can't remember their names) were just adorable. One of them was carrying one of the Series of Unfortuante Events books, so we got into a whole conversation about that.

I met Matt Cavenaugh today, and I was so surprised with how nice and personable he was. I even sat him in the wrong seat by accident, and he couldn't have been sweeter when I had to ask him to move.

Deja vu, but....

I actually haven't met a "rude" Broadway performer yet--but I have to give special props to Stephanie J. Block for being so incredibly generous (especially to my students) and to Sebastian Arcelus. The man offered me his umbrella at a school visit and then, nearly two years later, asked after the kids whom they came to speak to that afternoon. <3

SJB and Kritzer were darling. The cast of In the Heights at my corner bar every Sunday night during the off-Broadway run were really nice when I congratulated them on their transfer.

Chante Carmel Frierson from the RENT tour last year was SO incredibly sweet! She was so gracious, sweet and sincere! She was so down to earth and stayed to chat for a bit after too.
