Well, we shall see, but it seems odd to me that reviews would come out two days after opening night. Just because it's a different theatre district, it seems odd to me that they would operate in that way.
Sad about the absence of changes. Although the show doesn't need that much tweaking, IMO.
Hope you enjoy the show, jarretSF!
I posted this on another thread before but I'll post it here again:

"A lot of Elle's costumes are replicas from the movies, or appear to be. So, that "problem" is kind of not valid, since half her clothes are from the movie.
THe finale outfit, the Bend and Snap outfit, the pink dress at the beginning and her first day of Harvard law outfit all seem to be very similar to the movie. I think Barnes did an excellent job."
Wow. Good to know some originality went into this production instead of a rehash of the movie with some songs added and more pink.
Well, I shall be there too! Second time seeing the show, first time seeing this production of it. Soooooo excited. Time to go style the hair...

How have you seen another production of it? This is the World Premiere prior to Broadway....
Saw one of the readings in December '05. No choreography, no sets, and the actors dressed in character-appropriate clothes that just hinted at costumes. That, and the fact that half the songs have been rewritten and the other half have been tweaked since then, makes me all the more excited to see the first stages of the final product!

Rentboy, Laura Bell changes clothes a ton of times. Those four outfits are not even one fourth of the clothing she wears.
My personal favorite besides her first day at Harvard outfit is this jacket ensemble she wears when she is about to give up and go home. The ensemble matches her luggage and still looks stylish.

I do believe this is now the Appreciation Thread, if anything else.
I just got tickets for Friday night, as I just found out I'm going to be in San Francisco on Friday night. Is that not just classic? The first thing I do when finding out is say, "Hey, let's go see Legally Blonde." Damn.
Weird. This was bumped up but for me the last post to appear was 2/7/07.
Someone bumped it and the post got lost. It happens all the time.
