Bway, that is so mean of you. Robbie, will there be a lottery? And what of the BWW Idol winner? Will you two be doing "Who Will Love Me As I Am?" I get chills just thinking of that.
Okay, who's going?
Knock 'em out of the ballpark Robbie! I'll be at one of the shows!

Since there's been no reportage of Robbie's show I am just going to let my imagination run wild and assume that Robbie punched a wall at the Duplex when the air conditioner was set too high to stop him from sweating and his poor bearalicious accompanyist was cowering in his dressing room sending emails to friends that explained how worried he was for his safety and artistic integrity.
Does that mean that the accompanist's understudy will be taking over on the 13th?

And with only a few weeks left in the run.
Do you think they cancelled? Did anyone get a phone call saying they cancelled this weekend?
Maybe all the BWWers who are going are going the next two weeks.
I just got a text message from someone who is still AT the show. It's not over yet, and the crazy mofo won't let anyone leave!!! They have already sung When You Wish Upon A Star 15 times and the whole audience had to do "Step-in-time" with the exact choreography from the film. At one point, about 4am Robbie sang "Stay Awake" like Ethel Merman to keep anyone from nodding off...
I'll keep you all posted if I hear anything more.
Update: Robbie and his twin just launched into "Let's Get Together" for the second time...

That's going to be one hell of a bar tab.
I wasn't at the show, but word of mouth has it that this is Robbie's best show yet!
I'll be sure to get back from oHIo in time to catch at least one of 'em. (Sadly, no clean sweep for me this time around.)
Did Robbie survive Saturday night?

does anyone know if robbie's signing at the stage door after the show? i know he had that "only in the dressing room with the lights turned low" policy last time around, so i wondered if this was any different. has anyone been?
The evening is an inspired journey into the head of our Disney lovin' musical theater dynamo, the backstory of his growing adoration for all things created by dear ol' Uncle Walt is classic...by the time the performance reaches sweet little Tommy Kirk you've laughed yourself into spastic fits, BUT, like all the good Disney classics, it takes a dark and moving turn that I wasn't prepared for..I don't wan't to give anything away so I'll simply say, he raises HIS and THE bar with this performance, I must also add he's never been in such powerful voice.....the bonus for me is that he sang nearly all my favorite tunes from the animated films and made them all his very own.
Go get ya tickets, and NO he does not sign, he leaves the Duplex protected by not one but THREE bodyguards and they ain't playin'....
...counting the days!
Great review! Thanks, Eddie.
Three days before the next show. Do you have your reservations?
