Hello kids!
So it's me...Shilly Shillenstein, pimpin' out my new project. I've written a little piece of theatre that I'm premiering at The Duplex. It's about my love of the Mouse and my slightly psychotic obsession with a certain Mousketeer (NO NOT JUSTIN!). I'm running Saturdays, May 6, 13 and 20 at 7pm at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street). Reservations can be made by calling 212-255-5438 and credit cards are accepted.
The other information is below. Hope to see you all there!

Award Winner ROB MAITNER explores his love of the Mouse in
THE MISADVENTURES OF ROBBIE MAITNER:
A Tale of Mouseketeer Love
May 6, 13 and 20 at 7pm at The Duplex.
“Mr. Maitner is especially good” – The New York Times
Performances are Saturdays, May 6, 13 and 20 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 and there is a two-drink minimum. Credit cards are accepted. Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by calling The Duplex at 212-255-5438. The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue.
Bistro and Fringe Award winner Rob Maitner deconstructs himself and The Mouse in THE MISADVENTURES OF ROBBIE MAITNER. In process, he exposes the Mouse’s quiet role in what’s come to be known as the “Gay Agenda”. From his first taste of The Happiest Place on Earth to his obsession Mouseketeer Tommy Kirk, Mr. Maitner comically explores the idea that we can ‘know’ another person…even if we’ve never met them. Ray Fellman (Mostly Sondheim Friday Nights) will provide the arrangements and musical direction and Adam Fitzgerald (kef productions) will serve as director for the piece.
Rob Maitner is a staple of the downtown theatre scene. He received a Talkin’ Broadway 2005 Summer Theatre Festival Citation as Outstanding Actor in last year’s Fringe production as The Chaplain in Fleet Week and a FringeNYC eXcellence Acting Award for his work as Shannon in Poor Super Man. Mr. Maitner is a recipient of two OOBR Awards for his work in A Clockwork Orange and the FringeNYC world premiere production of Urinetown. Other New York credits include John the Baptist in Corpus Christi, Mrs. Seizmagraff in Betty’s Summer Vacation, Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, First Lady Laura Bush in Tony Kushner’s Only We Who Guard The Secret Shall Be Unhappy and Mrs. Clause in ‘Tis the !@#$-ing Season.

Oh boy! Oh boy oh boy!
LOL coool
you should so bring this down to orlando and perform at pride week. it would soooooo fit in.
I would love to. We'll see how this run works out!
You know I'll be there. Lady Tremaine made me gay.
Darn, darn, darn.....My love of trips to Disneyworld is just barely eclipsed by my love of trips to NYC. And I am coming in May but don't get there until the 22nd and stay until the 29th. Any chance of extending for one more weekend. Of course, I'm seeing The Caine Mutiny at 8:00 so I probably couldn't see the show anyway. Darn, darn, darn!!!
I am not missing your show this time!

Better hurry! Tickets are selling fast due to the fabulous marketing campaign Sueleen has launched.
Oh, Somms, it has nothing to do with my ad campaign and everything to do with the fact that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE TO DO THOSE NIGHTS.
If it's even half as good as his first cabaret, Basketcase, this will be a "must see" event!
I'm dialing for reservations even as I type.

Sueleen, is your new avatar the poster for Rob Maitner's show? It seems slightly reminiscent of something I've seen around here.
i still say ya should bring it to orlando for pride week
Hey folks...just bumping to remind everyone that I open this Saturday night at 7pm!
People who constantly bump their cabaret threads are so...
...AWESOME!!!!
Ain't it da truth, sistuh?
Will the winner of BWW Idol be a special guest? (provided that competition is OVER by then...)
I'm confused by the title. Doesn't Robbie have misadventures in other months and other places?
I wish I could be there! Nedra and I will be wishing you well!
Slam it, girl!
I should be there the following Saturday, darling. I have a really early flight to Atlanta this Sunday.
I'll be there the 20th. Not missing you this time.

Knock'em dead, Dahling.
Rock out, Robbie! I'd tell everyone to go see your show but you pretty much suck.
And 'm really only saying that so I'll be sure to have a seat.
