There is Hope and then there is realistic hope. Buying a ticket hoping to win the lottery vs putting the money into a stock that has potential in increase in value.

Chloroquine and azithromycin  Huh. Chloroquine has some dangerous side effects including being able to shut down your kidneys. Most evidence of its effectiveness is anecdotal but if they want to do some trials- go with G*d. So far there is only one small (36 pts) French trial.combining with Azithromycin which is an antibiotic- works on bacteria not clear how it would effect a virus. Unless they can show the mechanism I have small faith in this. 

If u really need to believe cos it makes u feel more in control  hey do whatcha gotta do. Just don't promote the "cure" to others.

She bought fish cleaner called chloroquine phosphate and , did no research, and didn't consult a doctor. It says it is hazardous to humans ON the bottle and it has nothing to do with hydroxychloroquine. If she simply consulted a medical professional, her husband would not be dead. So....nope.

You think they will be the only fools who will try stuff like this?

People who have some old supplies left over from trips will pull them out and either take it themselves or sell it to others who will take it.

Cos when peoples git skeered the stoopidity levels increase exponentially.

Of course all treatments should be investigated and pursued with great vigor. But the drug Trump mentioned first needs to be refined and separated out then combined with a specific antibiotic before being administered. As for the results stated they were purely anecdotal and incomplete. The reduced virus particles were likely the shedded ones and not the ones inside the body. Probably no different results than could have been gotten with baking powder. I wouldn't be surprised if someone close to Trump holds a financial interest in that product. Not one little bit.

Trump needs to be put in his place by Fauci and Birks- they should tell him they will resign if he talks about medical treatments and spreads falsehoods and misinformation. What are these esteemed epidemiologists- with stellar legacies in tact- afraid of? Or are they too addicted to power and the need for public attention to put Trump in his correct place. These daily briefings with fallacies, distortions and misinformed advice and timelines is ridiculous and should not even be covered by the networks any more. The How Long question will be even longer if this disease continues to spread and kill.
