I rushed Natasha Pierre on Friday 11/11.  The Color Purple line was exceptionally long by the time the box office opened at 10 AM.  60 people, if I had to make an educated guess.

a day late, but her understudies for most of these dates have been announced. Adrianna Hicks is doing all shows November 15 - 18. Bre Jackson is doing all shows November 18 - 22, plus the matinees on November 25 & 30. I expected for her vacation that Hicks & Jackson would split the dates.

Was there on Wednesday and they ran out of rush tickets before the people who arrived their by 8:20... They did have singles available. I bought mind it was supposed to be partial view but it was Row G centre in the orchestra, So i'm still confused if that was a mistake. But yes, the line was super long and there quite early

I rushed it today (12/2). I arrived at 8:30. There were about 13 people in front of me. After the couple about 5 in front of me bought their tickets, they told us that they didn't have anymore rush tickets, but they did have pricier singles and pairs. When I got to the window, they only had $59 seats rear mezzanine on the sides with partial view. I didn't purchase any and went to Fiddler instead. It took me a half an hour to get to The Color Purple window once they opened. I wish they would've told us waiting in line in the cold that they sold out of rush tickets so we could move on to a different show.

The amount of rush tickets they sell is usually based on how well the show has sold for that performance. I guess tonight's show was pretty well sold, otherwise they typically sell around 24 rush tickets.
