At the very beginning of "Portrait Of A Girl" on the BARE recording you can hear voices in the background

On the OBCR of WEST SIDE STORY, during "America" all the Shark girls say "si!" at the end of one line... except one comes in late and says it all by herself.

oohshiz, I want to say that the voices in the beginning of "Portrait of a Girl" are the people laughing at the "Good with her hands" joke at the end of "Confession" immediately before the song.

If Chenoweth sang her high notes on the CD there would be too high a standard for replacements. The audience would expect to hear that in live performance. There is no way Kendra Kassebaum or Annaleigh Ashford could have done that eight times a week.

If it's a basic recording of the score, chances are the actors will do their own thing and the audience will be happy.

On the Seussical recording, during the song "It's Possible," one ensemble member seems to lose count of how many measures it is before they come in.

During the dance break/Beach Boys sequence, around 1:49, one singer comes in a measure before everyone else. While the chord is supposed to build up, it is not supposed to start with this lone tenor. :)
