What awards did SA lose?
Where is Patrick Wilson?
Best Costume Design of a Musical and Best Set Design of a Musical.

Having Poppins perform right after S.A. won Best Choreography was entertaining, since they (like ALL THE OTHER NOMINATED SHOWS) were worlds better.

I loved the tap dancing in Mary Poppins (SA's award for choreography still baffles me. Love the show but the choreography? stomping, jumping, and hand motions... Fitting but others deserved it miles more) but the entirety (sp?) of the performance, just seemed strange. I don't know. It just seemed very weird.
...Where was Little Dog Laughed in the play montage?
Choreography is what Curtains has and should have for which it should have won. I actually haven't seen Poppins but I wouldn't go see it based on that performance. I'll slip the DVD in an watch Dick Van Dyke dance across the rooftops.

It's nominated. That was for non-nominated plays.

StageFan2- I couldn't agree more.
They didn't feature any play that was nominated for Best Play.

WTF is up with the writing of the presenters? It's so pretentious and awful.
And Utopia wins again!
Extremely deserved for O'Brien.
I agree, who wrote what those presenters are saying, it is not very good.
Go Jay Johnson!!!! Very deserved!
CONGRATS Jay Johnson! He seems so excited!

The three stages of creepy/annoying:
First stage: Mark Indelicato
Second stage: Bill T. Jones
Final stage: Stephen Sater. Is he just extremely nervous or seriously odd?

Yay Jay Johnson!! Very happy for him. I need to go dig up my SOAP DVDs.
Is it just me or do they let some people's speeches go on longer than others?
LOL. I love you, Broadway Jim.

Baleated reaction but thought the "Curtains" number was horrible; at least "Poopins" had a lot of energy.
Yeah, the presenters intro speeches are a little...ummm....preachy, don't ya think?
I mean, we know actors act and directors direct, let's move on!
I'm telling you, rubber Nixon mask.
Anyone else watching Young Frankenstein on AMC during the commercials?

Poopins...my God, that was a slip.
I love love love SA but geez, maybe I haven't watched enough backstage stuff but Sater is coming off like an extremely odd duck.
