Memphis winning best book? Is that a joke? The book to that show is the most amateurish thing since Mamma Mia. Please tell me you're joking.

I just don't understand picking winners from productions and performances yet to be seen.

That's pretty much the only one I really can't see happening also.
(Memphis - book)

Although with the musical revival category being so tight I don't think La Cage will win again either.

....but the world goes 'round

AMERICAN IDIOT is eligible for Best Original Score?

Did I miss something?

There has been no ruling on the eligibility of the score of American Idiot yet. It could be deemed eligible, for the same reasons The Who's Tommy was eligible.

"I just don't understand picking winners from productions and performances yet to be seen"

Same here. This thread is a joke.

Why? Why make somewhat plausible picks just to mock other threads? Atleast make it more clear that it is a joke.

Bye Bye Birdie
Finian's Rainbow
La Cage aux Folles
A Little Night Music
Promises Promises
Ragtime

and I guess, White Christmas, as per yesterday's Tony Admin ruling.

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
