I got 3 tickets during the AmEx presale, though I did buy them in the first 30 seconds after they went on sale. They were sold out after that, from what I could tell.
I don't think it's a hoax. It's just luck of the draw. I didn't get them during the pre-sale, even though I was able to get a single ticket to come up but i didn't want to go alone, but a friend of a friend did. But I finaly got 2 tickets this morning, but I had three additional friends searching who couldn't get anything.
had the same frustrating experience this morning, but I did get a pair for the Saturday matinee when they first went on sale last week. Anyone want to trade for an evening show? :)
I had problems too for the Illinois shows. I was on within 5 seconds of the onsale time, and it still told me there was nothing available. They did however have "Premium Tickets" that were at least $435 a piece. Yeah. Not happening. Oh well.
I know right? What kind of a "tour" is 3 or 4 cities? That's a "vacation."
