Thanks. I have seen that image before. I was just curious if there was more to her overall look in the film.Maybe I was expecting her to be green.

I wonder what the explanation will be about her skin color...

"In the original story, Maleficent eventually turns into a magnificent dragon, which we're assuming is the other part on which Baker will be working his magic. Maleficent's basic look involves a cloak-like gown and a horned headdress - simple work for such an accomplished designer. It's that whole dragon thing that has us more interested in what Baker will cook up next."

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

It's already made a zillion dollars. It can be as God Awful as it wants.
Just look at Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I heard Rick Baker worked for months on Angelina's look. Really Rick? I expected more.

I wish I could say I was expecting more, but it kind of met what I was expecting…the third part of the Alice in Wonderland/Oz the Great and Powerful franchise. I LOVE the character, so there is a little bit of me rooting for this to at least be decent, but it just looks like more of the same that's been put out the last few years.
It's the whole concept of the Mistress of All Evil being misunderstood that bothers me more than anything else though. :-/

Around the time of the 'Platinum Edition' DVD/Blu-ray of the 1959 film, Mary Costa, the original voice of Aurora said she was not fond of a Disney Princess direct-to-video film that continued Aurora's story.
Next year, the will film will be released as part of the 'Diamond Edition' line. I wonder if she sees this movie, she will give her thoughts about it as we'll as 'Once Upon a Time'.
So this is "Wicked" with horns. And Oz the Great and Powerful was Wicked from the Wizard's POV.
I mentioned Disney's strange obsession with "Wicked" in the Frozen thread. They seem hellbent on draining the formula dry before a "Wicked" movie gets produced by Universal.
