...subject line says it all.
thanks!
We won't know for awhile. It depends on which theatres are open. They have yet to announce the cast and creative team so it will be awhile.
Rumor has it that they want Circle in the Square, but with the way Lombardi keeps chugging along, it very well may not be free -- or a least not free in time -- for them to get in there by Spring. They may have to look elsewhere.

The Barrymore would be great
...but it ain't available.
I would love to see it in the Gershwin
What's going into the Barrymore again?

The Barrymore is booked for this spring. The production taking the space hasn't announced yet. Are we sure Godspell is definitely coming in Spring 2011? Did anyone invest in People of Godspell?
And BroadwayBound115, I'm sure you realize that's not possible because of Wicked. However there's no way Godspell would fare well in that theater. It's too big and there won't be enough audience demand, in my opinion.

According to the casting notice, it isn't even looking to open until Summer 2011.
Okay, I'll bite: WHY???
C'mon, this is a seriously dated work that needs seriously rewriting. I had to design this last year, and I cringed at every performance. Unless they're planning on making the score more like RENT or SPRING AWAKENING (which would ruin the songs), the thing should just remain a really lovely memory of theatre times gone by.
