You need cut the man some slack.

He has always had an ego problem. This is well known. Tell me someone in Hollywood who does not. He was the toast of Hollywood. Now he is in his 80's playing at off the strip casinos in Vegas. He was on top of the world and now he is nearing the end. This would get you little angry

Why should he be bitter. He gave his life to MDA and helped them raise a ton of money for research. He was thrown out by them like yesterdays garbage He was shown a total lack of respect. He has a right to be bitter over this. He should have been allowed to retire gracefully instead of being tossed in the garbage.

Hey, at least he's still working somewhere. What did he expect out of life, to be a slapstick comedian for the rest of his life. He made a living off of making funny faces and strange voices. He wasn't funny and couldn't tell a joke to save his life. Dean Martin made he seem funnier than he actually was. But Dean was the one with the talent.

Yes, no wonder he's bitter.
