Guys and Dolls has a pretty cool Overture. As does How To Succeed. Its a shame though, both Wicked and Once On This Island could have such great Overtures...or even Entr'acts
Candide(Absolutly the BEST overture ever, and the French horn part is amazing!), Wonderful Town, and West Side Story. There is definetly a Bernstein theme here.
I've recently gotten addicted to the overture of ...Forum. It's really fun and catchy - perfect for casting the right mood for the show (I so wish I could have seen it...).
