I stopped by the theatre today and was told by a young (handsome) man handing out flyers in the parking lot that there had been a fire afterhours underneath the stage which has obviously ruined their hydraulic system etc. He said the theatre plans to be closed for 2-3 months. Eeek! In addition to Cinderella, it possibly means the cancellation of Abyssinia and Camelot. *sigh*
I guess Nick left the hairspray too close to the blow dryer again!

I am so sorry to hear this about North Shore. I have worked there many times and it is a wonderful theatre. My heart goes out to all of the performers and the staff there, and I hope they are back up and running soon. They are great people there!
