I stopped by the theatre today and was told by a young (handsome) man handing out flyers in the parking lot that there had been a fire afterhours underneath the stage which has obviously ruined their hydraulic system etc. He said the theatre plans to be closed for 2-3 months. Eeek!
In addition to Cinderella, it possibly means the cancellation of Abyssinia and Camelot.
*sigh*
There goes the Full Monty too
I guess Nick left the hairspray too close to the blow dryer again!
NOOOOOOO
THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME FULL MONTY!
Well, I'll show you the full monty on web cam! lol

I am so sorry to hear this about North Shore. I have worked there many times and it is a wonderful theatre. My heart goes out to all of the performers and the staff there, and I hope they are back up and running soon. They are great people there!
Hi. I am the publicist at NSMT and the parking attendant you talked to was as dumb as he was good looking. THe theatre has just decided to close the production of CINDERELLA. We are planning to reopen by ABYSSINIA's opening day August 23. Please email me if you have further questions.
Well, that's good news.
Will Cinderella be rescheduled?

We will rise from the cinders in the same show slot in summer 2006. Hopefully with the same cast.. but right now.. nothing is written in stone.
Poor Sara!
She will live happily ever after! Impossible things are happening every day!
I have changed the title of this thread to more accurately reflect the situation.
Thanks.. amazing things are happening. We will have some great news to report next week. Very exciting.
