So auditions are on Thursday in New York. What is the minimum age that they're taking, do you think? Should a fifteen year old, rather experienced dancer/actor/singer audition?
Do it for the experience anyway. Who knows? Perhaps it'll happen. Just don't give your hopes up. Do it with the purpose of getting the experience and not expecting results from it.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

LET OTHERS RISE TO TAKE OUR PLACE UNTIL THE EARTH IS FREE!
Hey, if they laugh - THAT'S your experience. And you'll learn from it. What can it hurt? Your feelings? Bah humbug. Go for it.

If you really want it - DO IT. You gotta have passion and determination in anything you want to succeed at. If your worries about being TOO YOUNG is stopping you...you're in for a rocky road.

You don't have to be any certain age-I was on it last year(See the avatar!. We didn't have anyone under 18 but I know that this year they hired someone who was 17. The truth is if they want you they'll figure it out.
They change the cast every summer. Last year they got rid of everyone and didn't give us the option of staying on, but that was the first time they did that.
I know these people-they are very nice and absolutely will NOT laugh at you. I'm not sure who will be there but I can't imagine anyone being rude-and Rachel Hoffman casts and she is a doll.
DONT GO. That is a busted non-equity tour. It will be a low paying job and you will be treated like crap. I have friends that did it and have nothing good to say about it. You dont want that kinda experience. It will make you bitter.
