Hey all.
I know that one of the big things about this new revival of Grease is that "Hopelessly Devoted", "Sandy" & "You're The One That I Want" will be in the show. Does this mean that "Alone At A Drive-In Movie" & "All Choked Up" are going to be left out? I think those are great songs, and I would hate for them to be left out in an attempt to make the stage musical more like the movie (Keep it like Little Shop, the movie and stage show as separate things).
According to an interview with Max & Laura, all other aspects will be like the play (Burger Palace Boys and not T-Birds; Sandy Dumbrowski and not Olsen)
Do you think those aforementioned songs will definitely be left out, and what are your feelings about that being done?
Yes, I am pretty sure they will be left out. They are eachothers reciprocals...however, I'm sure they will find a way to sneak some of each song in...like they are at the palace and then suddenly choked up comes on the radio etc.

There have been numerous threads about this, including one that I posted yesterday.
Do a search.
Everybody thinks that Sandy's last name is spelled "Olsen" like Mary-Kate & Ashley. According to my "Frenchy's GREASE Scrapbook" and the subtitles on the Special Edition DVD, it is spelled "Ollsen".
i LOVE Frenchy's Grease Scrapbook!

Either Yankeefan007 is right, or NCGuy. I'll have to watch the DVD again!!
