Has there been any updates on who will be in the cast? I know that Judy Kaye is set to play Mrs. Lovett and David Hess is playing Sweeney Todd.
Edit: There is a website currently in development for the tour, here's the link
Sweeney Todd On Tour

The guy at the ACT booth at Pride today told me Lauren Molina and Benjamin Magnuson would be reprising the same roles they played on Broadway. I'm trying to remember the other ones he mentioned.
(Thanks, IBDB for refreshing my memory! )

That's awesome, i really cant wait!! I wonder if Diana Dimarzo will reprise her role since Light In the Piazza will be be ending soon.
Ok, not liking the new eyes on the tour logo; they're just not intimidating enough. Yay Lauren Molina and Ben Magnuson though! Hopefully Mano will tour too; he's one of the three I didn't get autographs from in NY.
haha, i kind of laughed at those eyes when i first saw them
they arent too bad, though
and thats pretty cool Lauren and Benjamin are probably doing the tour!
including Judy Kaye, thatd be about 1/3 or so of the Broadway cast (not including understudies) doing the tour. pretty good, i think!

Eh, I can handle the eyes. Michael's eyes were full of revenge and hate, the Act II Sweeney. David's eyes (if those are his eyes and not just random stock eyes) seem to me like the hurt Sweeney we start the show with, yet with a touch of something a little...off about them (the eye in the shadows seems more like the Demon Barber; maybe it's supposed to be both sides to Sweeney in one glance).
Yeah...I think too much at 3 AM.
Sorry, ElFantasma, that's one name I would've remembered for sure, and I didn't hear it.
Benjamin Magnuson scares me.
I didn't like the eyes either... I'm sorry, but looks like Sweeney is drunk...
I'm so glad that Lauren and Ben are on the tour, they are so great!!
I agree about the eyes. They clearly indicate he will perform a weak "Epiphany" and dull "My Friends." This picture of his eyes is everything. Obviously, from this picture we can clearly and decisively deduct that he will play Sweeney like Emma Thompson would play Norma Desmond. Not a good choice at all! Hopefully he will at least do the show bald, and people will think it's Michael Cerveris, thus magnifying a more universal disdain for his overrated talent. THAT IS WHAT THIS PICTURE OF HIS TWO F**KING EYES IS ABOUT, PEOPLE.
LOL at the "Emma Thompson as Norma Desmond" remark and I agree. The eyes look like he's about to sit down and cry rather than go up to his shop and slit someone's throat.
I'm so freaking excited that I get to see Judy Kaye, Lauren and Ben perform live, though! Between the movie and the tour, January seriously cannot come soon enough!

Lauren Molina was f---ing brillant in this show. I wish she had gotten some sort of recognition for her performance. I just remember her playing her cello as tears streamed down her face. Guh, it was awesome.

I saw David Hess in Shenandoah a couple weeks ago, and while Charlie Anderson and Sweeney Todd aren't exactly cut from the same cloth (you could argue for a few similarities, though), seeing him in that made me even more excited for the tour; I can see him being excellent in the role, especially opposite Judy.
Now the tour just needs to come to Chicago.
