Over all it looks like it was a good week. Most shows went up. [TOS] did 53% I would of like to of seen it go above 70% for the final week.

Why didn't WICKED sell out? I'm surprised. I went to lotto Sunday and there was at least 200 people there.

Wicked doesn't survive on Lotto tickets. Are you plotting their closing as well?

I'm actually surprised that [tos] was only at 53%...

I'm amazed by Billy Elliot's numbers... I mean, we knew it was gonna be big, but $725,000 in its second week of previews? And with only 5 performances?! Fantastic.

Looks like 13 may have benefitted from some of the positive reviews. And what happened with Spamalot and Avenue Q this week? Those are some pretty big jumps.

On the other hand... how much longer will A Tale of Two Cities last? Someone reported before that its weekly nut is $500,000 and if that's the case then it's not even breaking even (and never has).

Was this Cristy Carlson Romano's first week in Avenue Q? That might account for their uptick.

It was Romano's second week. Grosses are up because of the holiday weekend.

When they're up, they're (way) up.

Good news.

13 still only managed to get a little over 50% in with an avg. ticket price of around $50, the show won't be able to make it through the tough winter with these kind of numbers when it's just starting.
A TALE OF TWO CITIES has a few months left.
Glad to see IN THE HEIGHTS and AUGUST: OC go up in grosses.
BILLY ELLIOT might be the best musical playing on Broadway right now, it deserves to be making that kind of money.

What a relief. I realize it's the holiday weekend, but it's just nice to see some healthy numbers. I'm so happy with SOUTH PACIFIC. I realize it's not a shock that it's selling out, but it's nice to see that great theatre is still important to the public. And that's certainly what SP is. Now if only AUGUST's numbers would come up a smidge.

There's no way in hell TOTC or 13 will make it through the holidays. Noooo way. Yes, 13 picked up, but that's just pathetic. Ah well.

Very happy to see Spamalot up again. It will be interesting to see how it does this week with Clay being out all next weekend. If it holds up even though he's not there that might keep it around longer.
