So I saw Rock of Ages with my friend last week and I fully expected to hate it, but it was AWESOME! I mean, just a really fun musical. I was disappointed that the CD wasn't out yet but it turns out that it is! I'm pretty sure this is the only place you can order it from though for now:http://www.rockofagesmusicalstore.com/Products/Rock-of-Ages-Original-Broadway-Cast-Recording__ROA-CAST-ALBUM-CD.aspx

My friend didn't think it was worth it, but I totally do and I thought other people may not know that it was out either.

If you liked the music in the theater, I would say that is definitely worth it. It is one of my favorite OBCR's at the moment. There is also dialogue from the show that is put into the mix.

You joined today, to tell a Broadway board full of theatre enthusiasts about a Broadway Cast recording that's been released.

Um, okay then.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

If you think it is worth it, why are you asking in your thread title if it is worth it?

If you liked the show, go for it.

I actually like Amy Spanger's singing way better on the recording than any of the tv appearances/rehearsal videos

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

It's a lot of fun to listen to, especially if you liked the show.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Ditto JP. I have been rocking it out in the shower and the subway everyday.

I downloaded the cd and love it, but I want the hard copy on the 7th! I love it, of course.
