Over the last maybe decade I always noticed that those who win GG don't always win Oscars. It's a way to make everyone feel appreciated. I remember when Richard Gere and Renee Zelwegger (sp), won GG and CZJ took the Oscar. Other comes to mind too, but don't wont to write it out. So, if Argo won GG you can see that LINCLON being best picture or Les Miz for the Oscar.

I remember Richard Gere won that year and did not so much as receive a nomination. The Globes film drama categories have not been right since Slumdog Millionaire, although it correctly picked The Artist in Comedy/Musical (an even rarer predictor for BP Oscar).

The fact that she seemed to end her film career tonight makes me sadder than I can ever express. She's one of the greatest actresses ever one of my favorite directors. The thought of not having anymore films from her makes me want to cry.
