2day, Malka from akross the street at the jewish skool grabed me and made me play doktor wif her in the garaje. she poked me a lot wif her stefoskope. it hurted lots but i didn't wanna komplain cuz she was sumone to play wif. but she told me that madeleine tells her that madeleine is gonna show caldwell her woo-woo after the moovie their going to watch.

My uncle stopped going to movies after he saw that HELLO DOLLY film. He hated it sooo much that he refuses to patronize the industry that made such a peice of crap. He's only gone to the movies about three or four times since then--usualy to see holy pictures like that one that Mal Gibson made about the way they killed Jesus. I seen that picture with him and culd'nt stand all the bloodshed.

No, we dont have to watch just Catholic movies. Maybe a nice comedy would be good!

Ok Caldwell, maybe we could get a nice comedy/ Why dont you pick one out. I really like funny movies. Do you like popcorn? I can make some for us. I dont like movies where people are killed. Laughter is the best thing for everyone. Maybe we could watch the Frisco Kid with Gene Wilder. It is about a Rabbi who travels by horse to California in the olden days. I could explain the Jewish parts to you. Than maybe we could get a nice Catholic movie like the Singing Nun with Debbie Reynolds. You could explain the Catholic parts to me. School today was very busy because we are getting ready for the holidays. In fact we get out early today so all the girls can get thier hair done. I am so happy that Caldwell is coming to synagogue with me tomorrow and then to our house for dinner. I hope that no one fights because I want it to be a happy time for him. Malka and Fruma Sarah Tizlinger tell me that I shouldnt invite him becase he is a genital. Malka says, " A Goy like that...will kill your brother!" I only have a sister, so I am safe. Mom doesnt want to get pregnant so she wears a diagram. Anyway, I think it is good for people of different religions to get together. Maybe Caldwell will invite me for Christmas or Easter. Tomorrow I am going to wear my new red dress. It accents my boobies. I hope that Caldwell notices my boobies. I think they are growing larger. I just hope that he doesnt start noticing my boobies in synagogue tomorrow! It wouldnt be right and he might cause a scene. But I know he is a decent boy and wont do that until later.

You know, I was watchin television this afternoon and there was this hole story abouot how the Jewish people celebrate Rosh Shaquanna by blowing the SHOFAR! Its a horn. Madel;eine had be believing that we were gonna blow the chauffeur, Thats a hole different matter.

Caldwell, how on earth could you actually think that I am a slut? Are you going to believe what other people tell you or are you going to have your own idears? People tell me not to see you because you are a genital. I just believe that you are a very nice person. I am very hurt and I am crying into my honeycake.

that doesn't sound like an auxpicious new year for madeleine. sumone wrote the words "Madeleine + Caldwell 4-Evah" on the walls outside St. Welfare's 2-day. i saw dem when i left late, cuz Brother Purity made me clean his bathroom for detention.

Yesterday cwas the first day of Rosh Shaquannah. I went to the synagogue with Caldwell. He looked very handsome in his jacket and tie. The thing is he really didnt talk to me. Almost like he didint want to. Maybe because we were in a synagogue and he had never been to one before. The cantor sang very well but the Rabbi's sermon was a bit long. Still, it is a New Year and we all start with a clean slate. After services we all gradually walked outrside to see what everyone else was wearing. Calwell still wasnt talking to me which made feel kind of sad. When we got home we could smell Mom's brisket cooking. She made so much food.! people sure did eat a lot. Even Caldwell ate a lot. He just kept eating brisket and didnt talk to anyone. I want to know what is wrong. I even asked him if he was mad at me..........he just said more brisket, please.

I wasnt mad at no one. I was soaking up the hole experience like a sponge. This afternoon I went to Waldbaums and bought Challah bread. I bought it home and at sundown I lit two Sabbath candles and when my uncle saw what I wa doing he slapped me. He kept insisting that were catholic and we dont lite sabbath candles. He sayed I looked stupid with a dishtowl over my head and covering my eyes like Madeleines mother does. I mean, Catholics lite candles and pray, so why cant I do it on Friday nights? Whats wrong with praying?

Anyhows, I had a really nice time at the Rosenblatt house. I really ruv beef brisket and Madeleine's family is real nice.

I think it was Twyla Nussbaum who writ that graffitti on the school. Shes a trouble maker.

I have been doing lots of thinking which usually happens to me during the holidays. Maybe the reason why Caldwell was so quiet was that he was trying to take in everything. It was new to him. I did rememeber him watching my Mom light the candles. His eyes were wide open in amazement. Maybe I could teach him the blessings. He also liked saying the blessing over the wine/grape juice and the challah. Maybe Caldwell wants to be Jewish? And I thought he just liked brisket!

Your right that i was taking everything in, but i dont want to be Jewish. I admire the Jewish people and I love their cooking, but I know if i become Jewish I'd have to undergo a certain operashun that doesnt appeal to me.

You know it wouldnt be a bad idea if everyone lit candles on Friday nites regardless of their religious beliefs. I mean its always good for families to get together and pray for peace and that sortta stuff. Maybe if my mother did things like that her marriage wouldve lasted and she wouldn't be drinking so much.

Shabbos today and another day spent in synagogue. That makes three days this week! And Friday night starts Yom Kippur. That is when we are forgiven for our sins by fasting which means not eating or drinking anything. {ersonally, I thing it should be called "slowing" because there is nothing fast about it at all! We dont eat from Friday sundown until Saturday sundown. I know I have sinned because know one is perfect. Shaquannah thinks she is perfect and I feel sorry for her. I will say a prayer for her. I am glad Caldwell had a good time at my house. He needs to be with a nice family so he can feel loved. He says he doesnt want to become Jewish because of an operation that boys have. It usually happens when a baby boy is 8 days old. The family gets together and a Mohel comes and circumvents the baby's you know what. Then it doesnt look like it has a turtleneck. Then everyone eats a lot and drinks wine and says Mazel Tov. It is called a Bris which means covenant in Hebrew. Once I went to a Bris and they served cocktail weenies which I thought wasnt a good idea. I am glad I am not a boy!!

Hi Caldwell, I have to tell you something. My school is putting on Fiddler on the Roof. Since we are an all girls school we always put it on without boys in the cast. I was thinking maybe we could get together withyour school and put on a production. I think you would make a great Tevye. Do you think Uncle DollyPop woul;d let you be in it? I know he is a bit strict. I am going to play Yente the Matchmaker or Golde. They havent told me yet. I think we would have fun. And I know for sure that Shaquannah is not going to be in it because she is failing English class............~~Madeleine~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Do they serve brisket at a bris? is the meat cut or uncut? if it's uncut, does the molehill slice it?

will fasting help you lose some of your took-ass, Madeleine?
