"It's just Buttons now - I stripped her of her title."
I fell out!
I love Marc.
So, so much.
"I am freakin' fab-u-lous..." Ugh, that whole scene was so sad.
"I am freakin' fab-u-lous..."
That scene was great.
Finally caught up with episode Sat. morning. Great. I laughed so hard, then I cried like a baby. The scene between Michael and Patti was beautiful.
I hope they see the marketing opportunity and sell some 'Free Claire' t-shirts to the public. It's the first one of those I would actually wear.
edit: Patti comes back in a later episode, Marc needs a 'boyfriend' to throw in her face, and chooses Henry (the accountant). Hilarity, and then tears, ensue.

New episode tonight! (finally) with Leslie Jordan as the guy who has Faye's diaries...should be fun!!!
Thursday, Apr. 19 @ 8/7c!
"Punch Out"
Betty frantically tries to keep Daniel focused on work as he reverts to his old hard-partying ways, including romancing a multitude of stunning models. Things go from bad to worse when a tell-all writer (Emmy winner Leslie Jordan, "Will & Grace," "Boston Legal") in possession of Fey Sommer's diaries starts stalking the Meades. Another Suarez, Ignacio, feels the heat when Immigration caseworker Constance (guest star Octavia Spencer) pressures him to make their relationship a romantic one, and Wilhelmina and Alexis both try to get their hands on Fey's diaries -- but for different reasons.
Finally! I've had separation anxiety from this show.
I enjoy this show.
Anyone watch tonite? Did Betty's Father get married, and what did she say right before she walked away? (my mom was on the phone, and I didn't hear what Betty said to her father holding the phone that Daniel was waiting for a response)

Audrey - she said, "Tell him I'll see him in the morning. I've punched out."
I have seriously fallen in love with this show.
And no, SPOLIER? Ignacio did not marry Constance. Hilda came to his rescue.

ive only been watching since the Patti LuPone episode.
i love Betty's fashions, but is there a story to them?
or is it just a visual joke?
i was getting frustrated with her last night....i agreed with what the scottish woman said: "you're addicted! if he was crack, you'd sell your nephew for a bag of him!"
i felt sad for Constance; i hope thats not the end of her storyline.
i am happy to see someone wth that shape of face on teevee.
when they show the exteriors of Betty's house, its perfect, but the interior shots look like a mansion. i dont think they are supposed to be as well-off as the house set makes them seem.
on the other hand, the set for Constance's apt was RIGHT ON THE MARKl that looked like real Jackson Heights lower midde class living, & i was very impressed to see that represented on the teevee.
(i take stuff too seriously & think about it too much...thats why i never hardly ever watch the teevee!!!!)

if Santos breaks Hilda's & Justin's hearts, he is gonna be the most hated character (& actor) in america.
I'm gonna just admit it... I cried last night when Santos came back. Woa,,, I dunno if it's what I'm going through right now personally or what, but that was a beautiful moment in television.
I love what they have done with Hilda, Santos and of course Justin (he better get an emmy).

I think the kitchen and living room look like a normal Queens house. Betty's bedroom is way too big for that type of house.
I think the set design on Betty is brilliant. The kitchen, living room and "foyer" are exactly how those homes look inside. It's definitely stylized, but it nails look and feel.

How can you say that? I just love Amanda. Becki Newton truly understands camp and that's what makes her role so successful, I find her to be one of the best over-the-top portrayals of a character on TV and her chemistry with Michael Urie is right where it needs to be.
They should try to soften Rebecca Romijn's character a little bit. She should be a foil to Vanessa Williams, but I like how she's so insecure about her womanhood. Pretty neat to have a transexual character in the show.
